My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was stunning. I absolutely loved the service we received at our tasting prior to the reception, everything was delicious that it was hard to choose from. The coordinator was great to work with and very organized. The evening with our guests went great as well and the staff were amazing. They were friendly and gave great service! I definitely recommend this place.

This venue is amazing and has everything you need to throw the perfect wedding. The hall is spacious and the large windows let the picturesque views be seen. The patio and scenery around is perfect for taking pictures. The food is amazing and the personal touch of chef Kyle was shown in the way the he ensured with the guests that they were happy with their meals. Yvonne is excellent to work with, a true professional in helping to coordinate it all. Being able to have the personalized wine bottles from Pelee estate winery was another special touch.

We had our wedding here at the Links of Kent Golf Club & Event Centre this summer July 2016. Everything was AMAZING.

First of all, Yvonne (the event coordinator) was extremely helpful throughout our whole wedding planning process and on the day of. Ever since the first time we met her to discuss venue options, she has been more than helpful and willing to go out of her way to make things happen. Yvonne always replied our calls and emails quickly, and was always informative, patient,and accommodating with all the questions, concerns, and requests that we had.

The tables were set the night before, which helped a lot because we could set up our own decorations and do our rehearsal. On the day of our wedding, everything was on time and organized. The staff was very quick in serving and clearing the tables, and they were consistent with refilling the wine. The food was DELICIOUS. Chef Kyle Wagner did an amazing job. Both my husband and I used to be cooks (he, a sous chef) at a restaurant and we had high expectations of the food. We are very satisfied with how the food turned out!!! The desserts and the poutine bar late night snack is amazing too!!!

We had beautiful pictures taken around the golf course (which was very well maintained), and this is definitely the best choice to have your wedding!!!

We can't thank all the staff at Links of Kent enough for making our day perfect.

My husband and I tried to have breakfast here this morning. We live out around Rondeau and when we come into Chatham this has been our usual breakfast, brunch, lunch place. We have told many friends and brought guests as well.

This morning was a terrible experience. It was NOT busy, max 11 guests, 1 server. We waited almost 30 minutes after order was taken, more than enough time for 2 cups of coffee. We noticed other tables being served that had placed orders AFTER us. When our food came out I took 1 bite and then a second to verify. Potatoes not stone cold but just lukewarm, the same with the eggs. Didn't try the bacon. Husbands plate same thing. He also ordered rye toast, got white. Waitress stopped on way past to ask if all was well. We told her NO, huge look of shock that we were complaining. We told her we could not eat it,food should be hot! She picked up plates and my husband said OK we will be waiting another 15 minutes. Well less than 5 minutes later she comes back, this time with rye toast, BUT the same food, my egg that I had tried had dried and shrivelled yolk on top and food NO warmer. She offered to take back to kitchen again but we refused. At this point we just left. (Without paying).

We have NEVER EVER done that. In the past we have accepted (at other establishments) mediocre food when we should not have; we have fibbed to staff and said everything was fine when it was not, we have eaten the inedible and we have never not paid.

But today was just plain bad. You cannot put eggs in a microwave to reheat, fresh eggs should have been made and HOT potatoes. We are very disappointed in our experience in the restaurant today and it will take a lot to get us back in there to give them another chance.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Links and we cannot express how AMAZING it was!!!!! EVERY single person we have talked to is raving about the food!!!!!!! And the personal touch of the chef coming out to personally great every table and ask how the meal was, amazing!!! And Yvonne the event coordinator went over and beyond to make everything perfect!!!!! thank you SO much!!!!

We were so excited to see all the new changes in the restaurtant that my husband took me there for my birthday. The dining room and the new addition are very beautiful. The scenery is wonderful, the food wasyuck! We both odered the omelets which we found pricey, but, it was my birthday! The omelets were crispy and greasy. The fried potatoes were mushy and black, needless to say we did not even taste as they did not look appetising. We were served white toast, we never eat white bread, but we were not asked what we preferred. There was a measly piece of watermelon and an inch of pineapple on the side. The cofee was good. We informed our waitress of our complaints and she graciously did not charge us for breakfast, only the coffee. Needless to say we will not return. I think that if this facility were to improve on their food they would get a loyal following. This is just meant as a creative critism so that this beautiful facility will make a go of it.
