Weekends at this location are pretty crowded, but still manageable. Covered parking is available one level below ground, with loading areas / parking and elevator access. This store is not well visible when approached on The Queensway, so don't be surprised if you have to backtrack. It does have a dedicated set of traffic lights, and a bunch of marking flagsjust stick to the South lane to make last minute turning easier. Aside from that, it's pretty much a cookie cutter location like any other Ikea out there (which I very much appreciate).
Big facility with everything being sold on display. Organized accurate racking system. Quick self scan checkout system for up to 15 items. Also has a big food court upstairs and snack bar downstairs. Parking lot is huge.
Beautiful spotless ✨ clean very well stocked IKEA store. Staff is very helpful and can look up items for you to make sure that store has them on hand.
Great FREE daycare center / play area for 👶!!!
Coffee / snack shop near the check out offers amazing deal on hot dogs and coffee as well as on 😋 chocolate 🍫 bars👍👍👍
Visit the scratch and dent section for good bargains!
Lots of free parking outside and underneath - use the ramp to drive to P1 and park on P1 level on a rainy or snowy day !!!
Very convenient loading area 😊😊😊 near the entrance
Wonderful recycling wall where you can recycle old bulbs, batteries, long fluorescent bulbs, etc 👍👍👍
Wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible store. A lot of handicapped parking spots.
Tip: go on a week day and you will not have to wait in line !!!
I love ikea! Breakfast deal is still amazing even after raising the price (used to be $1!) For $2.49 you can get a great breakfast with scrambled eggs, home fries, chicken sausage, toast and a slice of tomato. Coffee great and free refills. Often busy but worth the wait. Service is slower since changes but for the price I don't mind. After breakfast you can literally spend hours wandering around, looking at furniture and creative storage ideas. Kid friendly for sure. Wacky Wednesday deals are great, be sure to sign up for their emails to stay up to date on store promotions!
Good service, cheap prices. They have an as is section where you can come sometimes find a bargain for decent condition furniture. Definitely worth checking out.
Their parking lot is going through construction so best to go early as it gets quite busy in the evenings and weekends.
I hate the maze. I hate it. Getting all twisted around in these stores is a nightmare. Can't ever find anything I'm looking for or anyone that works there. Not to mention everyone just stops in the middle the aisles. Constantly. However - this is what ALL Ikeas are like, so 2 stars for location
Good staff and they are always here to help us! My first time going here was about 2 months ago (July 2017). Staff were able to help me, I picked the best choices for me and some good prices! The only thing I would complain about IKEA Etebicoke is that the prices are a little too high of how it should normally be.
Like any other IKEA, this IKEA is organized by sections and by room type. That way it's easier to navigate through what you want to get and get straight to the section. A tip to effective shopping in IKEA is to search it online and find where you can find it in store! Because..nobody wants to pay for shipping right?!
Great customer service. Most people will bid to differ but I think quality service comes from this store. They will go above and beyond for you to fix your problem. Hey people just be nice about it, treat others like you want to be treated.
Great store. My only complaint is it's not really clear that when you buy a bed, you need to buy the main board separately. I ended up having to make 2 trips because I realized half way through building my bed that I didn't get all the pieces.
Staff was nice tho
Great selection of items. Picked up some outdoor furniture for the dining event and saved a bunch on them. I'm very happy with the overall look. Staff is very friendly, restaurant is clean and the food is tasty. I can definitely get lost in here for hours!
I recommend you take advantage of their sales as there's always something discounted, and every store has different items on special.
Your typical IKEA franchise - always great for affordable furniture any any kind of home needs. Convenient location right next to a highway exit. Spacious parking lot. Good and affordable food in the food court. Has kids playroom to keep the little ones occupied while you shop.
Home feeling and lovely but they need more staff on floor. Wish they double check the items and measurement before packaging. Some little pieces have quality issues and you need to drive long to replace a tiny piece of wood to get your furniture all set. It happened with me twice in one purchase Otherwise everything is cool.
Great selection of items for every room and every style. Gets very packed by midday on weekends but parking is surprisingly still ok to find. Make sure to grab a map of the floor plan and a personality file to write down items numbers and they'll get them for you at the end. Food is good and inexpensive.
I love this place. I'd just go there to walk around for hours while my husband parks himself in the food court. Things are reasonably priced and anyone can find anything there. The arrows on the floor pointing you in the right direction is key, otherwise you'll walk in endless circles. I love that there's a membership card with benefits like early access to sales event. I love their selection of merchandise in general. Always lovely colors and textures. The checkout area is always busy but mostly a lot of lanes are open.
