Friendly staff, generally quiet and clean rooms. A bit dated but fine for my one night stay. Parking is extra. Close to downtown for appointments and a good vegetarian Asian restaurant is close by. Heating system is a bit loud even on low fan. Breakfast is adequate to get going, but the coffee is nothing special.

This is one of the best hotels I have been to in a long time. Not just the quality of the hotel but the effectiveness of the staff. Everyone I encountered knew exactly how to help and were so welcoming towards me and my family. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. I usually check over the whole room over when I arrive to see if it's up to my standards and this hotel exceeded my expectations! There wasn't any hair, dust or crumbs anywhere in the room (kudos to the housekeeping staff). The breakfast had SO many options it was crazy, it was super yummy too! Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, pancakes, cinnamon buns, bagels, apples, bananas, juice, milk, I could go on and on! I highly highly recommend staying here if you are in need of a hotel in London. I will certainly be returning!

Can't set the temperature lower than 20 Celsius. That wouldn't be so bad if it actually got below 30 degrees. Have to keep screwing around with the thermostat and at 4 am, I'm about to rip the it off the wall. It's 3 degrees outside and 30 in this damn room. Never again. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. If you want to use the elevator after 9 pm, you have to swipe your room key. Again if it worked, maybe not a horrible idea. Had to wait until a kid from a hockey team got in to go up to the 4th floor.

4/5 Location is central to many points of interest downtown. 5/5 Rooms are clean and well equipped. 4/5 Wifi was stable for working from distance. 5/5 Breakfast buffet was high quality with a sufficient variety of offerings. -/5 Not much interaction with staff, so no customer service rating available. 4/5 Overall

Not very satisfied with the stay here unfortunately. Rooms were clean but a lot of issues with the technical part of the room. A lot of the sockets weren't working or were very loose which would lead to cords falling out. The lights near my bed weren't working even if plugged in. Internet was not good at all, which I need it for work - asked the front desk if he can give me a wire or if they can do anything about it, he hands me a useless phone wire. I laughed and decided not to fuss about it. Since I only stayed here for one night, I didn't bother complaining or asked to change rooms. Hopefully your stay will be better then mine!

Small, somewhat aged but clean rooms and hot though otherwise mediocre breakfast. Located 10-15 min by walk from downtown and there's a great pub across the street.

Courteous staff and great location downtown that is walking distance to many restaurants. Covered parking available at the hotel. Breakfast is the standard holiday inn express breakfast.

Stayed for 5 nights and had 3 issues:
    1. Not enough parking. I was told to park in one spot (not a real spot), then I was called at 1130pm at night and asked to move my car to a different lot accross the street or I would get a ticket.
    2. Wifi is crappy. Couldn't stream Netflix.
    3. One night I got a call at 130am from the front desk saying someone was there to see me. I don't know anyone in this city. Why would you call me at 130am.
Also, the hairdryer was broken and the curtains don't close all the way. 🖓🖓

This was the worst experience I have had in a hotel. There were 4 of us going to an event in London, when we got to our room there were ants all over the bathroom floor. They said the only other room there was was a king with a pullout couch so we were "upgraded" to half of us sleeping on the couch. But it's okay "we wouldn't be charged for the upgrade". We were in a hurry to get to our event, so we just dropped our stuff and went. When we got back and started to get ready to sleep, we had no sheets, no pillows, no blankets for the couch. Called the front desk. Some guy brought up 2 of the worst throw blankets ever. The ones they throw at the end of the bed for decoration. We said again that we needed pillows and sheets and a comforter. He brought 4 pillows, 7 pillow cases and a sheet.. so I went down and explained once AGAIN we need a comforter. I don't understand how this place functions. 3 times to get a blanket so I can sleep on a couch. Unacceptable. When we talked to them in the morning about it they said, go on trip advisor and complain then nice. Never again will I stay at a holiday inn express.
