I would very much recommend Dr. Johar to any of my friends and family and have!
Over the years I have taken a total of 3 dogs and two cats for various reasons from simple spay and neuter, to repairing a torn toenail, which had to be removed but has since grown back, to a double knee replacement for an aging dog. Her knee replacements extended our time with her by 5 yrs. and we sadly took her for euthanasia at 16!
Dr. Johar was very caring and took the time to explain the process, what to expect and told us we could take as long as we needed afterwards. They also arranged her cremation for us. Since then we have had one dog requiring the removal of 6 teeth and another we took for a laser spay and she didn't seem to even know she had had operation.
Dr. Johar removed a BB from our cat's neck after a new neighbour shot him and offered to speak on our behalf if it went to court; without me asking.
My next appointment will be for a dual 'cherry eye' repair and I have no qualms about taking my pet to Dr.Johar for the surgery. Dr. Johar is also very understanding financially.
He is truly the best all rounded vet I have found in Maple Ridge in 30 yrs.response / report this review -

My pug and his family ty vm for an awesome experience thru his dental surgery. Hes back to his old self from 2 years ago. Great job

I have been bringing our family's pet dog at Haney Animal Hospital for over the past three years, and I still to this day stand by my positive opinion and recommendation. In terms of the staff, the knowledge of their discipline, professionalism, in addition to the quality of care and love they have for our dog, has always been very appreciated by our family.
Our toy poodle dog is getting old and she has had her fair share of experience with numerous other veterinarian clinics. None have been able to provide the caliber of care, service, and financial understanding and support as Haney Animal Hospital. They are very practical with their diagnosis and have an expert team who is dedicated to provide by far the most affordable and accountable medical care for our dog.
We do not reside in Maple Ridge. Every visit there requires at least a 30 minute drive to their clinic, yet we continue to trust our dog's health in their hands.response / report this review -

I don't know what all these terrible reviews are about! I take all my pets here, everything from rabbits to cats and dogs and they have always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They seem to care more about the animals than the money and they have twice provided medication for my pets before I got paid so that they would be okay and let me come back after my cheque to pay the balance. I have recommended this place to friends and family and my recommendation still stands, these are good people doing good work, their prices are affordable and they have very efficiently helped my animals heal every time.
