I’ve been seeing Dr. Roberts for a couple of years now and she is by far the best dentist I’ve been to - she has excellent bedside manners, high standard of care and always available to answer my questions.
A prime example is when I had an unfortunate accident this summer and one of my front tooth chipped. This was nerve-wrecking for me as I had a family reunion that weekend. Dr Roberts was able to book me in right away, bond my tooth and made me look respectful. She also recommended I keep a close eye on that injury as it could develop into something more.
It did, I ended up needing a root canal. Her referral was excellent as well. The root canal healed quickly and I was able to go on a 3 week vacation with no issues.
From there, she informed me that I would need a crown on that tooth. I was scared and nervous - these are my front teeth and I never had a procedure like this done before. Her and her team answered all the questions I had, helped me with my insurance, showed me photos of her examples of work, provided me with lots of time to decide how I wanted to move forward and was always there to ease all my worries.
I am so pleased with with my two front crowns/veneers. They look so natural and look even better than before. Thank you so much Dr. Roberts and your amazing staff. I have been recommending you to all my friends and family.response / report this review -

This is a VIP experience. I moved to Vancouver 3 years ago and have tried a couple other places in Kits and Coal Harbour and now I've found "The One". The staff is very considerate and knowledgeable. They are always friendly and pleasant to talk to. They are patient and caring. Everything you want in a dentist. Not enough nice things to say.

Came here after doing extensive research to find a cosmetic dentist in Vancouver for veneers. The service was outstanding - both Jan and Carolyn made my feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. The results far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Dr. Jan Roberts through my family dentist for some cosmetic dentistry work. Dr. Robert's attention to detail is top notch and she took the time to walk through all the options available. The entire team in this office are exceptionally friendly and pleasant to deal with. I have no hesitations at all in recommending to family and friends.

A Smile Above is my regular dental clinic. From regular check-ups and cleanings, to Invisalign (invisible braces) and regular Botox treatments. Not only is my mouth healthy and happy, I also have straight natural teeth and a wrinkle-free forehead to be thankful for. Although Dr. Jan is my mum, she is also my dentist. And for that reason, I feel it's fair for me give an honest review. A Smile Above is my regular dental clinic, and I have also had Invisalign (invisible braces) and regular Botox treatments here. After Dr Liebenberg's early death, I experienced jittery trepidation in finding another dentist. However, Dr JR seems to reach high standards. She made me feel at ease and already fixed a dental problem with finesse. I also received royal treatment from Roksana, Carolyn and Tammi. I shall return!

Dr. Jan Roberts and her team provide a very high level of service. I recently had a front tooth crown replaced and was quite impressed with the experience. They walk you through the process, making you feel comfortable throughout. I was very pleased with the outcome.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Janet Roberts and her staff. I first went to Dr. Roberts a couple of years ago because, after copious amounts of research, I decided she was the ideal dentist to do the 10 veneers I wanted on my upper teeth. To this day, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I made the right decision. Dr. Roberts is not only a dentist, she's an artist! She took the time to make sure than my veneers were not only perfect, but also exactly how I wanted them. I have received countless compliments on how perfect my teeth look and no one would ever guess in a million years that they are veneers! Thank you Dr. Roberts!!!

I recommend Dr. Jan highly; her professionalism and attention to detail has resulted in a 'better than expected' outcome over a longstanding dental issue with my front teeth. The entire staff offer respect and care. Dental work has implications for one's appearance and confidence level, and too often is accompanied with prior negative dental experiences, making it even more complex. Dr. Roberts made room for all of that, and is someone I would trust with any of my dental needs moving forward. I am so glad I was referred to her, and am delighted with the result. Worth every penny.
