Great little hostel that feels very rustic. Place was clean and very relaxed. Fire pit outside was a great feature. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Kitchen space was limited so keep that in mind when planning meals - good luck getting all your food into the fridge. Staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely staff there again.

Rooms were fantastic! Everything was neat and the view was great. Service in the lobby was wonderful. We felt welcome from the beginning to the end of our stay!

Fantastic Hostel! This is a wilderness hostel so is pretty basic but HI-Kananaskis is about as good as they come. Great family atmosphere and great staff to help you find your way around.

My niece had her wedding at this hostel. I have to say I am completely impressed at this place. It was not only clean, but larger than I expected. The pictures in the website do not do it justice. The scenery is breathtaking. Most of all, the manager, Anita was very welcoming and friendly. She was very flexible with the rules, but also made sure people followed any rules that could disrupt the natural balance and beuty of the surrounding habitat. She was very sweet to deal with. I would definitely recommend this place for an event or if you are just passing through and need a place to stay.
