I wish I would have come across they horrible reviews before I booked these Yahoos to do a move. They'll tell you what you want to hear over the phone and take your money, but when they damage YOUR items they will deny, use every little trick in the book (read their contracts carefully) to not pay out a claim. We had various glassware, furniture and a 3000k TV dropped and broken. They went through our personal items, opened boxes. They have zero accountability, integrity and a useless claims department. They should not be in business nor should be handling peoples personal belongings. A 2000k move has now costed me 3100K in damage.

You have been warned - there are many better moving companies out there. Avoid this one at all cost!

After making many call to find a moving company, I found GCVL! Karen was so nice and helpful! She answered all my questions and made the process quite pleasant. I cannot say enough about the great experience I had. The movers were very professional , nice and knowledgable. They took great care of our furniture and our other belongings.

Move from Sherwood Park AB to Whiterock BC was well planned out and went without a hitch. Movers were on time, and professional. Truck beat us to our destination and were quick and careful in moving us in. Easy for us, no headaches. Definitely recommend Great Canadian.

Nice service, got a call back to ask about my experience and to ensure all went well and no damage etc. All's good!

We used Great Canadian Van Lines to move a large house from Kingston to Edmonton. The mover we had was fantastic. He had a large crew (so it took way less time than other moves), he was strict about using floor mats, they treated our stuff with respect and they were on time (even early). We have zero complaints about the service!

We used Great Canadian Van Lines for our move from Winnipeg to Calgary. Everything went perfectly. The crew was on-time, packaged all our goods with extreme care and delivered everything to us under-budget and ahead of schedule. Nothing was broken or damaged. It really couldn't have gone any smoother. Also, our contact at head-office was super responsive with any questions we had and walked us through the process every step of the way. The crew was also very transparent with the weight of our shipment so I knew that what we paid was the right price.

Great Canadian Van Lines assisted my family in moving from Toronto to Vancouver a few months ago. I was very appreciative that our shipment arrived earlier than predicted and the driver was very pleasant to work with. The movers were efficient and experienced. However I am extremely disappointed that I have had not one, but several items missing. Although we contacted the driver to inform them, there has been no follow up on missing inventory. It's unfortunate that the stress of moving remains unresolved.

Professional from start to finish. Our online estimate form was simple and responded to promptly, and we found the experience solid - right down to ensuring work boots were covered and not a single scratch to a wall on both ends of the move. This is definitely a professional moving company, and from past experiences, well worth the investment to have the confidence and trust so often lacking in this industry. Terrible moving company with seriously ridiculous rates and don't even think about having a car shipped through them. They pull numbers out of the hat as to what its going to cost you. You can pretty much buy another car for that cost. Drive it if you can. Don't support these scum bags.

You hear a lot of horror stories about various moving companies, so I hired these guys because of the BBB accreditation, and it's not for show. (Look it up if you like.) Very organized, professional but friendly, and easy to get in touch with.

Your stuff is tagged by number and colour, and you need to confirm a shipping manifest when they depart, and also when it's delivered, so you go through it with them to make sure everything is safe and sound. As a general moving tip, it's good to box and pack your own stuff (and add extra padding). but they do bring these sturdy blanket wrappings to further protect your stuff should you want it. (bicycles were a bit of a concern but they ended up being fine)

No real problems, and they got in touch with me immediately when there was going to be a delay in delivery due to extreme weather. (On a small aside; Victoria/Viktoria Movers seem to be one of their subsidiaries/affiliates, so don't worry if the name on the truck differs somewhat when it arrives.) Shoutouts to Team Mike and Team Ivanka for being awesome!

I am the most impressed by Great Canadian Van Lines, efficient from the pick up to the delivery, from Vancouver to Quebec. Very professional. I have no hesitation to recommend them.
