  Not a business I am comfortable dealing with. Looking to make a change ASAP. Fees too high and late fee amount too high. higher than the actual service. Paid $25.00 for one month late for a service that charges out at $13.00. suggest finding another provider with better customer service rather than excessive punitive charges.

  I was in email starting at 9:45 a.m. with a worker name Dave. Throughout our emails he asked if I would like the 8x20  to be put on hold for me for 24 hours(at 11:50). At 12:30 I emailed and said "I for sure WANTED it" (and was able to come in,  in 3 hrs after work to pay for it) At 3:30 I recieve a call from Dave telling me that they just gave the 8x20 unit to someone else. I said why would you do that when you knew I was going to take it and told you 3hrs ago. He said it's first come first serve but I can put you on a wait list". I said "but you never said that before you said you would hold it for 24 hrs for me". He said well this person came in and paid for it so now it's gone. I said this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I hung up on him.
  
  30 mins later I called back and asked to speak to a manager. The woman on the phone said I am the manager (never said who she was) I told her everything that happened. She said "that's just the way the cookie crumbles". I started to cry (very overwhelming and disappointing on how I was being treated) I said "but Dave was going to hold it for me"  and she said "it's first come first serve that's how the storage locker business goes." I said "but I was first 3 hrs prior to the person who got it I said I wanted it!" She said, "we can put you on a wait list for another one if one comes available". I said "will you have one for sure for Aug 15" . And she said "no, nothing is for sure because tenants will give notice all the time and don't go on time". I said "okay so if someone gives you notice just like when your renting a home and you give notice to the landlord to end the tendency you are obligated to move because chances are someone else is going to be moving In."  And she said "I know first hand that's not true people give notices to their landlords all the time and they aren't obligated to move out.".. I wasn't about to argue anymore at this point.  I said "okay so it's a maybe and you cannot garentee you will have one for August 15. And said raises her voice and says" I NEVER SAID THAT I SAID WE MIGHT HAVE ONE BY THEN" I started to cry more and said "yes exactly So maybe and might are the exact same thing  You cannot garentee you will have one?"
  
   And she said "well we have other  locations too." I said "I will check myself with other locations because of how you and Dave have treated me I will never give my business to you guys and I will be wrighting a review on how I was treated today and will tell everyone I can about how you guys treated me"
  
  And she said "good for you"
  
   and that was the end of the conversation. These people have the worst customer service I have ever experienced and any other storage locker facilities I tell about this have heard similar stories about this same Westgate advanced storage nightmares. Do not give your business to these people!
