I had an appointment with Gillian T. at Doria and she is AMAZING. I have a LOT of hair and it’s very coarse and curly. I haven’t had it cut in years by a professional because of bad experiences in the past from others and I really needed it to be layered. I love how Gillian asks you how you normally style your hair (I normally do twist outs that stretch my hair out and sometimes straighten my hair) so that she could cut it accordingly so it would look even in different styles.
I am so happy with my Devacut from Gillian and I am very glad I found her. Overall the salon is beautiful and the staff are very helpful and nice and offered coffee/tea/water quite frequently. Good vibes all around.response / report this review -

I recently had my 3rd nail appointment with the amazing Sarah Plant and couldn't be happier! She is extremely personable which makes it really easy to express what look you are wanting in shape and colour. Sarah does not use harsh tools on your nails which is just amazing and keeps your nails much more healthy. She is an incredibly talented artist and I have found my nail tech for life! Thank you Sarah!

Gillian @ Doria Salon is #1 talented pro hair-stylist. She's witty, friendly, and a master of her craft. I ❤️ my hair because Gillian has the magic touch! She takes the time to listen and does not rush or take any short-cuts. Go see Gillian if you want your dyed hair to be healthy, shiny, and feel soft like silk. She's the best decision you'll make for your hair.

Always a pleasure to see my favorite stylist Jennifer V. Over the past 4 years I have always walked away happy. Jennifer always listens and understands what you don't want and does what you do want. The salon itself is relaxing and reception staff always there to help you out. When Jennifer V was on mat leave I saw Louisa she treated me great and did my hair the way I wanted she knew I would be going back to Jennifer but always treated me like her own client. I have also had some facials and other services and always relaxing and great. Check this place out if you are looking for something new.

Doria was the full salon experience. From the fruit-infused water and coffee while I waited, to the beautiful aesthetics, variety of up-to-date magazines and hand massage my stylist (Jennifer V) gave me while my colour was setting, it was a wonderful experience. Jennifer is a perfectionist in her work and always caters to her clients--she does an excellent job of listening to my suggestions and making sure I get exactly what I ask for. I'm quite particular with my hair and appreciate that Jennifer listens to every detail I say and has excellent communication. Jennifer also did my wedding hair, which included many trials to get it just right--she did an incredible job!

One of the best salons I've been to. All the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you don't want the hassle of shaving go to Doria Salon. I get my laser hair removal done by Suman, who is professional and kind, and I would not go anywhere else. I now barely shave my armpits, probably only once a month.

Large salon with many stylists and team members, it does not feel clicky like most salons! Its very professional and beautiful, could use a few updates or a good deep clean. Overall its a good experience going here, I have been going here for a year

Gillian was amazing! I've been struggling to find someone to cut my curly hair and as soon as I met Gillian I knew my hair was in good hands. She asks you questions to understand your lifestyle and choose a haircut that's right for you! I LOVE how my hair looks now and I keep getting compliments. I'm definitely going to go back to her. She's great!

A hidden gem! Amy is such an amazing hair stylist! She is honest with what she can do for your hair and will not put it at risk, I usually color my hair myself but decided to get pampered for a change and it was well worth it! All the staff was super friendly! Definitely going to be coming back here often!

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! Went here recently for the first time and I will absolutely be back. I went in with very long hair and wanted to cut it short. Rachel my stylist was absolutely amazing! She took the idea that I had and made it even more amazing. It's hard to find a good stylist that you can trust especially when you want such a drastic change and she did such an amazing job. Doria is my new salon of choice!

Got my hair done for a second time with Stephanie Percival, and lemme just tell you, I didn't think she could ever possibly top what she did last time but she did! What I wanted was to go from a dark brunette to an ashy blonde, which is NOT easy, and she made it happen for me! My hair is drop dead gorgeous, there is no damage done to it, I am SUPER happy and I will forever be a lifetime client of hers. So easy to talk to and get along well with as well! Thanks to to Stephanie and Doria for doing such a fantastic job, will recommend to all of my friends!

Doria is definitely my go-to place since moving to Surrey a year ago. Amy is my stylist and I love her work. She isn't afraid to go drastic, but still made sure I had all the facts before we decided on a shade. Glad she talked me down from going super dark (black) to a dark brown, which is what I really wanted. The tones and highlights were perfect, as was the cut. The staff is super helpful and professional and the place looks great. Always a treat to come in.

I have been looking for a good hair stylist for ages and can honestly say that I feel I have finally found her. Malia did a fabulous job with cutting my hair and styling it. My husband was even impressed with the work she did. Malia is so down-to-earth, easy to talk to, friendly, helpful, and kind. She introduced me to some products that I feel work great with my hair. I will definitely be coming back to Doria to use her! The rest of the staff are welcoming and friendly, too. - Janzel

I've been going to Doria for about 3 years now and I absolutely love the amazing staff and the atmosphere - the ladies are always welcoming and I have yet to leave without a smile on my face! One stylist has really stood out for me (and trust me, it's a huge deal because I've struggled for years trying to find someone who actually listens to what I want) this year. I've gone through probably 15 stylists at various salons and I'm so happy that I ended up at Doria as this is where I met Amy! She's genuine, honest, always smiling, and makes me feel like I'm her number one priority. In addition, she takes the time to LISTEN and UNDERSTAND what I want and how I want my hair done. Communication is so important and I've always found that to be the biggest issue with my previous stylists. Long story short, if you're looking for a great stylist who never disappoints, prioritizes your wants, and teaches you how to take better care of your hair, I highly recommend her. I'm probably the pickiest when it comes to my cut and colour, but she manages to work her magic every single time!

Gillian is amazing! She is not only extremely talented and skilled with curly hair but she is so personable, genuine and caring! She loves to share her extensive knowledge with her customers so they can continue to love their hair in between cuts. Gillian puts you at ease from the minute you sit in her chair and makes you feel like you have her complete undivided attention. She is all about you, your personality, your likes and dislikes and uses all of that information when choosing the right cut/colour/style for you. If you have wavy/curly hair this is who you want to see! You won't be disappointed!
