  I had a necklace that was customs made here, it was done with extreme care and attention. Both owners are very patient and honest, they tell you upfront if the piece is worth altering or, worth fixing.
  I have never seen a lady in this industry like Fofi before, she can tell you something from point A to B, right away. Extremely knowledgeable.
  Whether it's customs, engagement, repairs, gifts, this is the store for you.
  Most definitely a 5 out of 5!!!

  Cannot say enough about this place, 5 Stars*; The staff is great and really takes the time to educate you and work with you to make sure you get exactly what you’re looking for. Dealing with the actual owners, Fofi and Tom are the best and most helpful people we worked with during our engagement ring shopping! Looking forward to working with them for many years to come! I’ve had many friends also have great experiences working with Gold Star. They have gained lifetime customers with us.

  Each and every time I've been in this wonderful family business , I have been
  treated with such kindness and respect, no matter what type of jewelry , I bring in for repair or to purchase Over 15 yesrs I have been their customer, each and every year they give me fabulous service. What I like about Fofi and Tom is they are so honest. If they have to repair a piece of your jewelry, they tell you up front, exactly what it will cost and if it is worth fixing or not. Lots of places its all about the money business first customer second., not in their case!! After 50 plus years, you know they are doing something right!! I find that they are sincere and polite always.They strive to make you happy as a customer, if you don't like something they have done, so willing to fix the problem.

  “I just wanted to write a quick not to let you know how thrilled I am with my necklace and ring!. They are perfect 10’s in my book. You both listened to what I wanted and also gave your ideas to ensure the price would be just right. While I was excited after I saw the waxes, nothing could have prepared me for the real thing. The necklace is beautiful and very sparkly. My ring is so “me”. Since I’ve gotten the pieces I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received and it’s all because you listened and made suggestions. Thank you for everything!” C

  I have been a Gold Star customer for over 20 years. I have never found another jewellery store on par with Gold Star Jewellers, though I have visited most of the jewellery stores in the area and along the way in my travels. Their service and craftsmanship is second to none. Gold Star has truly earned their reputation for excellence in the industry with their unique designs and top-quality Jewellery. Dealing with the actual owners is a big plus, which in today’s chain store world is hard to find that personal one on one service. The staffs friendly, knowledgeable and has the ability to listen to your needs and provide an amazing experience for their clients.

  I was terribly disappointed in my experience here.
  
  I usually take my timepieces requiring repair and/or batteries to a business that is an hour drive from my home. Shortly after Christmas, I decided that I should try to use someone in my neighborhood. I visited Gold Star Jewellers on a weekday, in the middle of the day. I had five watches needing batteries and one new watch needing a band adjustment. (i have many watches & require service regularly.)
  
  I was greeted by the person who would (presumably) do the repairs. He seemed upset that there would be more work, told me it would be a 2 hour wait , and passed me on to a sales associate who checked my watches in. When I inquired if I would get a call or should just return in 2 hours, the answer was to come back as they would not have time to call.
  
  When I returned in 2-1/4 hours, my items had not been started & the repair person complained out how busy he was. I took my watches back and will have them done by my regular out of town "guy". This was a complete waste of my time.
  
  I sent this business a private communication outlining my concerns and received no reply.
