Is it hot in here, or is it just me(nopause)? Well hot flashes move over because Saturday at 11:00 am on the 2018 Fall Edmonton Woman's Show, Susan Prendergast NP PhD(C), Clinical Director and Nurse Practitioner @ellithiahealthcare, will be giving us the run down on about how our bodies naturally transition through the phases of menopause and how BHRT (Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy) can help! BHRT is the treatment of hormone imbalance with hormones that are identical to those produced naturally in the human body. During this short session, Susan will provide an overview of this new approach to management of women’s health conditions and long-term health!

Presenting her Traditional Main dish Pastel Azteca - seasoned chicken, poblano chilies, mushrooms, corn and zucchini layered between corn tortillas, cheese and Salsa Verde - Mariel’s use of bold Mexican flavours are sure to get you excited to try some new recipes in your own kitchen! Chances are that you or someone you know has been impacted by a stroke. A whopping 62, 000 strokes happen in Canada every year! Saturday at the 2018 Fall Edmonton Woman's Show, stroke survivor and author Christine Jackson 7 Jars Of Hot Pickled Peppers will be taking to the Main Stage to share her story. She will take us on her rollercoaster ride of recovery and acceptance, after having a Pontine Hemorrhagic Stroke just before her 49th birthday.

She’ll demystify the song-writing process to give today’s woman the tools to find her voice and tell her own story! The workshop will end with a live performance of one of Andrea’s own songs.
