Unprofessional! This Dr. nickel and dimes youplays on your emotions and when you decline she gets MAD!!!
I'm satisfied with Dr. Brown in her profession. Sensible and no-nonsense approach. I have been taking my cat to see Dr. Brown now for almost 3 years and never experienced any rudeness from her or staff. Follow-up calls are friendly. I may get a lecture during a visit that I really should brush my cat's teeth or that I need to brush my cat's coat more to avoid certain problems. One of her assistants took time to show me how to trim my cat's claws. So I think she is all about trying to prevent problems down the road that can be costly. With all this in mind I believe she and her staff are trying to teach me to be a better pet owner.
I had another pet previously for over 10 years and have visited a lot of veterinarians and I've noticed something every vet I have seen doesn't do. They don't give much background info about meds they give (or give you) to treat your pet before administering them. You sign the estimate agreeing to treatment without knowing the history of the meds. I'd like to background info on meds happening at veterinarian clinics. Thanks.
Dr Brown and staff are wonderful.
When I ran out of prescription dog food, this office kindly checked with my out-of-town vet's office and sold me some from their supply.
Very conveniently located behind Country Club mall, right by the 2nd bus stop on Barron's Rd for the northbound #1 and #20 buses.
This vet nickel and dimes. They told me my dog needed meds for the rest of his life that I was buying and then found out that that was not true. The Veterinanrian said my pet had big ball of wax in his ears and when I asked if I could come in for the procedure there was none. She was not too happy with me because I basically caught her lying. I've since changed Vets and am very happy now as my new Dr. does not over charge or even suggest tests and medication.
