Its not Departure Bay I suppose, but the terminal is clean, the ferries are generally on time, and they generally arrive roughly when they are supposed to. I used to really complain about BC Ferries, then I went and traveled to other places. All of a sudden BC Ferries looks pretty excellent in the face of their international colleagues.

Amenities are a washroom, 2 vending machines, and an overpriced coffee shop. Pet area is a joke, and there's never any bags for pet cleanup, so you can barely walk in the pet area without stepping in something.

Well maintained, could use at least a coffee shop that's open all night during sailing hours.

Where a 12 year old (who is legally a dependent, cannot legally work or vote) is an "adult". 12 year olds pay more than seniors. "BC Ferries - where families are revenue streams".

Nice playground for the kids. Could use some better for options.

Always busy. Has a coffee shop and some little vendors and a playground. Could have more amenities.

Wow! on the pottery. A group of local potters are showing and selling a wonderful selection of pottery until August 1, 2017. Check out the whale mugs! and everything else. A must- see during your ferry wait..

A little out of the way, but quiet for night rides. Terminal is a little sparse on amenities, but clean and simple. Haven't boarded here, only pickups, so can't comment on ride/boarding experience.

BC Ferries is way over priced and this terminal doesn't even have anything decent to eat while you wait.

The cafe has the most awful food, this is now the worst cafe I know In BC. That's what happen when competition isn't allowed.

Consistently doesn't care about which lanes board the boat first. I've watched as cars without reservations boarded before cars that have been on standby for hours.
Missed a flight because two ferries were cancelled without reason. It was a sunny day. Third ferry arrived an hour late.
Sometimes it feels like they are sabotaging this terminal to justify shutting it down.

This small ferry terminal is clean and easy to navigate. We were pulling a wagon and large suitcase so found all the ramps and access points to be wheelchair friendly. The staff were friendly and relatively helpful too.
