I was there to play on their VLTs and was pleasantly surprised at the changes they have made to the interior. It's beautiful inside. Also I was delighted to try the deep fried squash and veggie sticks that they now serve to the vlt guests. And in the main lobby they have a complimentary candy bar set up along with hot chocolate. I will definitely be going back ! Thanks delta McLeod trail!!

Nicely appointed rooms; clean modern lines in the furnishings, amenities. Friendly staff. Good food in the restaurant/room service. Little snacks in the lobby were a nice surprise (thanks for the Smarties 😀).
Only downside is you can't turn the fan down or off in the rooms and it's a bit loud. My preference would be for windows that could be opened or at least the ability to turn the fan down. Not a huge deal.response / report this review -

I was at the hotel for a training session with work, our room was in the Atrium part of the hotel. My session was only from 6:00-8:00pm so I wasn't expecting much but when I arrived (after getting directions from 2 very friendly/helpful staff members) I was pleasantly surprised to see a layout of several appetizers, hot beverages and beautiful fruit waters! The food was delicious, drinks were amazing and plentiful! The room was comfortable and I saw staff doing things behind the scenes to keep us happy. I was very impressed with the whole experience!!

Had the best costumer service. The manager is incredible, the hole place was nice and unbelievably accommodating. Everyone should go stay at least one night .. Well well worth it ..

We recently had our wedding here and it was sensational! Arlene Garcia and her team are so easy to work with. There was very little stress on our big day. All my guests raved about the food. The staff were quick and accommodating.

While the room was requested to be in a quiet area (it wasn't) it more than made up for it in comfort. The bed and pillows are fantastic. The room was very clean and spacious. The shower was supposed to be a highlight (based on the in-room TV promo), water pressure was iffy and stepping out of the shower, there was water all over the floor. Okay, sounds like more complaining than praise, I'm still giving this hotel 4-stars. Terrifically comfortable room and bed as well as extremely friendly staff warrant a high rating. Would definitely stay again.

I have had a lot of ups and downs with this hotel. Let me start by saying that the rooms are gorgeous! They were just renovated and they are beautiful. I stayed in the loft suite and it was perfect for getting ready the morning of my wedding with enough hair and makeup space for everyone. When we went to see the hotel we met with Maria and she made us feel super confident and comfortable with the hotel so we booked our block. We were told that we could only book 10 rooms at a time and that they would email us when the block was full so we could book 10 more rooms. Well they didn't. My aunt was the one that told me there were no more rooms at the hotel. I had to actually go down to the hotel to raise a fuss before they even seemed to care that they had not communicated with me and even then they just passed the blame to other people. My guests had a really hard time getting through to book the hotel room because no one answered the phone or they would transfer the call and no one would pick up. It was really frustrating for me to hear that my guests were having a hard time because I really didn't have time to micromanage this portion of the planning as I was planning my wedding almost by myself. We got to the wedding weekend and everything was flawless but the road to get there was a bit rocky and it was something that could have been avoided.

Great place to get married! The event coordinator was very helpful and the day went off without a hitch on the hotel's part. Probably the most reasonably priced venue in Calgary, and super flexible in terms of the menu.

Right from booking until check out was a horrible experience. I tried to book under a room block in which I was told that it was full so I couldn't book under it. I booked at a normal rate for the same days as the room block. Good thing I called back because the person book me for completely wrong days. I was then told that I could book under the room block and was told she wasn't sure I couldn't do that the first time I booked. My mother checked in for the first day of the reservation as I was unable to make it. The second day I asked for a family suite because it was too late to for my mother to check out and drive back home so I asked for a bigger room. They said they could give me a bigger room so I sent my mother to change rooms as we were still on our way. She packed up everything and went to the room that was a smaller disability room. I called and asked them what was going on and they stated that's what I asked for. I corrected them stating I wanted a family room and they told me there were non available. My mother had to move her stuff back to the original room and I asked for a second room with a king sized bed and a pull out couch for my kids to sleep on and she confirmed my request. We got there late and found the room to only have one king sized bed. I had to send my children to sleep with my mother because I had no room for them and after traveling and arriving late I was too exhausted to change rooms. The day after I went down to complain and was told that I did not request a pull out bed. So this is the second time I was called a liar. They gave a discount of 30% which I thought wasn't enough. I then took my kids swimming outside of the hotel because they failed to tell us that their big pool was out of service. I came back with a sleeping baby plus two other children, I carried him up to the room and my key would not work. I left my hubby outside of our room door with now a crying baby and I went down to the front desk to get my key reactivated. I was standing in line for 5 minutes and I can hear my baby crying from the front desk. I asked politely while the clerk was on the computer, to reactivate my key quickly as my baby is crying. I knew it would only take 5 seconds to do this so I didn't think it would be a big issue or problem. The clerk looked at me and rudely said you have to wait! I asked how long this was going to take again stating my baby was crying. She just kept glaring at me saying I had to wait. I stated again that it would take 5 seconds to do this and she just kept saying the longer I kept talking the longer it would take for her to reactivate her key. At this point I was mad and I said again I don't see what the big problem was you could have done it within 5 seconds. She called security and threatened her next step would be to call the cops. I told her go ahead I just asked you for a simple favor and your the one who started being rude. I definitely got rude with her but that was to my defense of how she was treating me. She finally did reactivated my key and I go up to my room and get a call saying if I caused another issue I would be evicted. I asked him what I did that was so wrong and he stated that I was making threats against the front desk clerk. I asked him exactly what threat did I make? he stated that he couldn't go into detail and if I kept it up I would be evicted. I did not make one threat against that woman and and I am so angry she lied about the situation. To top it all of I checked out the next day and went home only to find that my credit card was charged for a room that was already paid for! Seriously?!?! how many mistakes can a hotel make with one guest?!?!?! I got my refund but I will never stay in this hotel again and I will make sure I will let other know how horrible my stay was. Thanks for the most stressful little get away I've ever had!!! Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've had!! Shame on your hotel staff!!

Rooms in the tower lobby are quite amazing with good location off of Macleod trail (access to city centre), covered walkway to Atrium section of hotel with interesting layout to building and conference rooms. Has a fitness centre and swimming pool with a decent restaurant attached to hotel. Worth staying at or attending conference.

I attended the Delta Hotels by Marriott for a career hiring fair event. The event lasted all afternoon and it was very organized. The building and grounds were clean, and staff were helpful. I took a short walk through the lobby and everything seemed in order. I have no complaints.

Good price for Calgary. Hotel is a little older inside but the staff are amazing. They make me feel like I am at home. I stay there whenever I can.
