  RANT : We came with our dog 2 weeks to get a quote to have her fixed. Was a little pricey, but we still booked an appointment for today. Checked the price when we arrived in the morning and all's well. When we picked her up later after her surgerygo to pay and it's a whopping +$200 more than their quote. I was not pleased and all they said was that's our price. What BS! 😡😡 — feeling angry at Companion Animal Hospital Richmond BC.

  It's the worst animal hospital I ever been. Spend over thousands for useless check, but My pet is even worse and have to sent to emergency:(

  Unhelpful:( My dog is keep drooling and lethargic，we came there ask for help, after exam we wait for couple hours, giving dog a number of check, X ray, blood collection, CPL snap test, however doctor cannot provide any helpful diagnose and then ask specialist for help and recommend us to transfer since doctor says it mau be severe need surgeryat last, we get totally different doagnose from two different hospital under a number of check and A Lot Money:(

  Our vet is the best vet I've ever come across. Dr. Gold is very friendly and always gives us full explanation as to what we could, and should do for Marley. Not sure how their prices are in relation to other local animal hospitals, but compared to Ottawa, this place is cheap!

  They only care about money. They tried to charge me for things my cat didn't need. They wanted to deworm my cat three times and check his stool for worms. I went to a different vet (Richmond Animal Hospital) they gave him a blood test and found out what was wrong right away. I will not be coming back to this vet.

  I have been going to this place since my puppy was 7 wks old. The doctor and the other employees always been very nice and helpful. Except the help with a Scottish accent she is very unfriendly and clearly doesn't like animals. She made my dog scream, scared and uncomfortable, then spent a long time complaining about the dog. I will keep going back there because the doctor is great, but will make sure that when I'll go she isn't working.
