The facilities are fine with a decent complimentary breakfast. I had made a mistake and booked my room for a month later at the non-refundable rate. i clicked on the wrong month. Completely my fault. So when I arrived they didn't have a reservation for me. The front desk person was very nice and able to get me a room that night at the same rate and cancel my booking for the next month. Very kind. He said I should check with the front desk in the morning to confirm the future cancellation.
The next morning I checked with the front desk, and the manager told me they had cancelled the date, and then sternly told me I had better not make that mistake again because this was a one time deal and I was lucky to get it. The poor response spoiled what had been a 5 star experience in dealing with my mistake.response / report this review -

Very poor customer service at reception desk. Guest service person named "Rommel" has no sense of talking, very bad at servicing guests. Rommel needs to learn that how to speak to customer and deliver best customer experience. I strongly advise manager to give some more training to this idiot person.

I stayed at the comfort inn in August 2017. The stay was excellent and the staff were friendly and professional. The suite was clean and neat when I arrived. Good experience overall.

I stayed here for the entire month of August and I was really happy! The staff was friendly every day, no matter what time it was. The breakfast was always fresh and yummy! My room was cleaned on the days I needed it but they were quiet and respectful when I requested they don't attend to my room. Staying for a full month got tiring but never because of the people running this location! I would stay at another comfort inn again in a heart beat!

Standard Hotel Room and Amenities
The property is conveniently located, south of downtown, and close to the Stampede Grounds (approx $10 taxi fare) Handicapped accessible parking and rooms, equipped with an elevator, 4 stories.
Shallow pool (1.5meter) with water slide and hot tub, small workout room. Ice machine, snack and beverage machines located on lobby floor.
Complimentary breakfast is included in the room rate, standard fare of eggs, sausage, waffles, various breads, muffins and sweet breads. Fruit, yogurt and cereal available. Coffee, tea, milk and fruit juices available. Generous amounts of food available, freshly prepared by friendly, hardworking Staff person.
Complimentary Coffee and Tea available in the lobby 24/7, lemonade also available during the day.
The room I stayed in had double Queen beds. Coffee maker, fridge, room safe, blow dryer and bathroom amenities are supplied. An iron and ironing board are in the closet and clothes hangers are supplied.
The room and bathroom were acceptably clean, if not "shiny". The property is older and though it is well maintained, the age did show when trying to plug in chargers for our various electronic devices. The electrical outlets were loose fitting and the "Charging Stand" (provided on the nightstand) features 2 USB A charging sockets and 2 three pronged electric outlets, also felt loose when plugging in and though finicky,it did usually provide a charge (slowly). I recommend using one of the less commonly used outlets in the room ( on the wall across from the beds) for more reliable charging.
Despite a few flaws we did enjoy our stay, and mostly because of the friendly and helpful Staff. Everyone we dealt with had a smile and was quick to answer our questions or help us in any way we requested. From the front desk, housekeeping and the Lady who provided our breakfasts the service was Great!response / report this review -

Just in Calgary for the night, comfort Inn had all the usual amenities. Staff was friendly. Kids got a chance to have fun in the pool. Good stay, reasonable rates.

Reasonable place, however it is showing its age, with peeling wallpaper/damaged countertop edges in the bathroom.
However the beds were super comfy.
Missing blackout curtains, which would have been welcome - as we had kids that go to bed better when it is dark.
Staff were helpful.
Included breakfast was ok as well, including hot and cold options.response / report this review -

My father stayed here while he was in town for some work training, wonderful rooms and experience! Very close to Chinook and great restaurants and pubs nearby as well.

This hotel is good, but not quite 5 stars good. It is clean and reasonably priced for the area. It could use an update or refresh. I noticed things like the wallpaper peeling off in some areas. The breakfast is OK, but nothing special - just a typical hotel breakfast. It is in a good location.

Hotel was great. Very affordable for a weekend and the pool was excellent for the kids. Slide is very intense, so you really need to watch the kids as they shoot out the bottom. Will be back!
