Great bar, usually good music and good evening service.
I've found daytime service to be very hit and miss, the waitresses seem too preoccupied with the male patrons to help any women wanting food or drinks.
The evening service is always incredible, unfortunately during the weekend we had a horrible experience with a new waitress, but the manager was quick to fix our situation and made sure we were satisfied.response / report this review -

It's an okay place to go to for lunch/dinner as long as you like waiting for service. I had to walk up to the counter twice to get the waitress to serve us. Received our cheque about 30 mins late even though we could see the waitress engaged in conversation with the people at the bar. The food however was good so 3 stars!

So the place was pretty busy (makes sense for monday night football) but we found a table ok. Our server was pretty slow, as was service in general. We got the cheap wings, which were tasty but could have used more sauce/seasoning; and a pizza. Beer selection is good as well. Overall pretty standard pub fare but slower service than i expect from a pub (waited over 30 minutes for the pizza)

Beer tastes old, my food was over cooked, my server was extremely slow even though it wasn't busy. This place looks dumpy inside and out. Save your money and go to bc liquor and grab some McDonald's that's how bad this place was. Highly DO NOT recommend!!

Waitresses are great, they stretch the staff out but manage to barely pull it off. Feel sorry for the waiters and waitresses. Love the wings. A+++ on the food.

A good old-fashioned pub ambiance including lots of wood and low, warm lighting. A great sundeck for families and a pub area for adults. A good all-round family pub for all occasions. Not bad wings too 😊 I'd give the pub an easy four stars if the food quality was a little better.

Not bad at all, food is good, wait times are a little high but that's the price for good food. A bit pricey for bar food, what made them lose a star is the family side is very"cold" doesn't seem very friendly, or colorful the atmosphere. Definitely a drinking place. The pizza we got lacked salt but the cheese on it was great. Wings were great too. Some salt shakers would have been nice. Overall a little rough here and there but ignore the ugly out dated cartoon and try this place out!

i gotta tell ya, this pub is second to none. Amazing ownership, staff and fun atmosphere. I try to make it 3 times a week. Kids can eat there too, its like a family atmosphere with a club feeling in the evening

We like the pub and enjoy the food, drinks and specials. There is only one thing that seriously needs to be attended to and that's the time it takes to be greeted and waited on. Unfortunately it takes 10 - 15 minutes to be greeted and it's been like that for the 3 years I've been in poco. The hiring of a professional to train the staff would be invaluable as well as making absolutely sure enough staff is on hand.

Worst experience ever. Came here with my boyfriend, waited about 15 mins with no service, so he went up and got himself a drink at the bar. Asked the bartender to let a server know we there. Another 15 minutes pass and my boyfriend goes up and places our order at the bar. Server finally comes and asks if we have been helped after she told us she would be right with us 30 mins prior. This normally wouldn't bother me as much, but walking up there and seeing 3 girls just standing there chatting is frustrating. I don't care if your food is magical, if your service is horrible, I will never return.

I have eaten here before and it was and has been good , but today it was not great the day we went. Understaffed, one waitress for the restaurant side was not enough. The fries were cold, the burger was of the frozen paddy variety. A family got up and left after the supposed 4th time the order was still wrong.. My review today is based on this particular time being here, Very disappointed, expected better as it's been better before..
