At Camp Winston, children have the opportunity to escape their ordinary and often challenging daily lives, connect with others in a way they’ve never experienced, and build life-long skills. Our primary goal is to set our campers up for success.
Session 3 is ✅ and our staff have enjoyed an important break to recharge for our 4th and final session this summer! #timeflies⌛️

We’re serious about our nutrition at @campwinston 🌞🌱🍓 Fun fact we have an organic garden with 16 raised beds where campers learn to interact with their rooted friends by planting, weeding, harvesting, and sharing fruits, herbs and vegetables. Through their interactions with the animals and plants, children learn the significance and value of being a giver/receiver to all life #comevisitthegarden

Fun fact: Camp Winston is located on Sparrow Lake, close to the Kashe River, and is ideal for nature exploration. Our Nature Hut is filled with a variety of small mammals, birds, and reptiles!

Camp Winston has been a wonderful experience for our son! With every visit we see him become more independent. It is wonderful to see his excitement every time we drop him off to meet the bus and how happy he is when he comes home, asking about it for weeks afterwards! We are also pleased to know that we can have our respite because he is with great company that will keep him safe!

My son has been going to Camp Winston since he was 7. Its the only camp he has ever been to that makes him feel ok to be who he is. He absolutely loves it there and starts to talk about going the next summer within days of ending each session. He can't wait to be old enough to work there one day he says.
I myself, cannot thank the staff enough for this camp. As a parent of a special child, its a very emotional experience to pick him up and hear so many good things from the staff. They brought hope into our lives for him.response / report this review -

My daughter loves Camp Winston. It has taught her how unique and special she is. She feels included and cared about in all situations at camp, where as at other place she may not. She has blossomed in so many ways since she became a camper! Incredible work and life long relationships have been built!

My grandson has been going to Camp Winston for 3-years. He loves all the amazing staff and activities. He looks forward to boys weekends and the 2-weeks of camp in the summer. He learns amazing things about himself and others. He looks forward to going to camp and enjoys telling his friends and family about all the wonderful experiences he has had.

It been many many years since me and my brother have been campers there about 20-25 years ago know I have kids of my own and I still remember all the good time and wonderful experiences that I shared there in my youth as a camper know having two young kid of my own considering singing my own I could not think of a better place for my kid to attend a summer camp to Carrie on memories of there own through the generations.Shout out to all the staff of this day and age that help make camp Winston the wonderfully warm place I remember it was as a child.And a extra loud and special shout out to all the original staff that founded camp Winston when Me and my brother were just wee troubled little hyper active monsters

My son at a great weekend at your camp. He met some new friends and did really well for his first time away from his parents. This has been a great experience for my whole family. Thank you for giving my son the opportunity to learn new skills and meet other children like him ! He can't wait to go back!!!

Just returned home from my daughter's first weekend at Camp Winston .She was so happy to have had the experience and her first words to me were .."When do i get to come back!!" That pretty much says it all - I'm very grateful for this opportunity

I went to camp Winston when I was younger a few years after they first opened..I had the best time of my life meeting new people and all there differences and learning life lessons ..had the best time tubing and fishing and kayaking up the river..with late night fires..I know my parents where happy to get rid of me for a few weeks ..
