A new state law in Indiana gives parents the right to veto offensive sex education: “The law is clear that parents, not agents of the state like teachers, or outside radical groups, have the right to direct the upbringing and associations of the parents’ own children. Horwath doesn't seem to realize that many Ontarians are social conservatives, and also that there are many parents in Ontario who do not necessarily identify as social conservatives yet are opposed to the Wynne sex-ed curriculum and support the repeal.
