When my son had to visit the London hospital to have his tests done , I had to stay in the "house" by myself . although my family did come for one night. I had to stay for a week & a half by myself. They made me & my family feel right at home providing everything you could need & more to make your visit less stressful. Although my son is not here now my family & I are are forever great full for the love & support we received while there!!!!♡♡♡thank yous so much!!♡♡♡

This place is beyond AMAZING! We've only been here 2 days so far and are thankful for the wonderful staff and many volunteers. We are from NW Ontario and staying at RMH while our son is in the hospital. Everyone makes you feel at home and it elivates the stress of having a sick child. We stayed here for almost 5 months here at the Ronald in London when our son was born 4 months early. It’s a true blessing to be able to have a place for families who can be close to their child/children and it feel like home.

My family has recently and still currently using the hospitality of the Ronald McDonald House in London, Ontario. I cannot express how much comfort it brought when Olivia was first diagnosed with the devastating news of a brain tumour, Anaplastic Ependymoma Grade 3. The Ronald McDonald house has given us some stability in a time when our worlds were in chaos and disbelief of what was happening to Olivia. A place in which we call home while treatment is going on for Olivia. The staff and volunteers are so caring, understanding, helpful and attentive. The House has everything you can think of to give parents a feeling of some normality, a safe haven in which to refuel and decompress from the emotional roller coasters we are all riding. Hearing stories from the other families in which you have made friends with, is so therapeutic for both parties. It's a bond of understanding and compassion made through tragedies. I cannot express how donations to this The Ronald McDonald Houses all over Canada and the U.S. are for a great cause. I am thankful to all the staff for all of their generosity, care and compassion, they are truly angels.

Our family prepared a dinner for the families in house, and we really enjoyed it. They go over and above, making you feel welcome and appreciated. It was a really nice project for a family or group of friends to do together!!!!

Our son was transferred here shortly after he was born. The stay at RMH really reduced our level of stress emotionally and financially. It was a great atmosphere for our 3 yr old, with so much to keep her occupied. We will never forget RMH.

On Wed Dec 21st our son Declan was born! Due to complications we were sent to London's children's hospital and Ronald Mc Donald house. To have a room right beside the hospital so you can come and go see your baby as you want is amazing. Yet Ronald McDonald house does not stop there they go above and beyond to try to make your stay as normal as possible and as home like as can be. We woke up on Christmas morning to a door full of Christmas presents for our son! Something we never expected and with all the things going on with our son it was a very overwhelming surprise. Followed by us getting to the hospital to find out that our son is getting to go home! Thanks to London Children's hospital and Ronald McDonald house this is the best Christmas we will ever have just by being able to bring our baby home! We have told everyone if you are looking for a place to donate to please donate to Ronald McDonald house the things they do for families of sick children is absolutely amazing! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Have a Ronald McDonald room on our floor while we have been in hospital with our 6 week old twins. After a night awake in emerge watching one of the girls have numerous painful tests done it was such a comfort to wander into a room with a friendly face telling me I was welcome to grab a coffee and sit down and eat some breakfast. Later when I came back to take a much needed shower I was given a lovely bag from thirty-one and got into the washroom and just cried out of gratitude for such a lovely gesture during a stressful time. This place was beautifully nurturing. Thanks to them my 4 year old has happy memories about her baby sisters birth, a scary and stressful moment in time for the adults. They really took care of everything so that all we had to focus on was our children. Bless this organization.

In the chaos that were the days following the unexpectedly early arrival of our baby girl, the Ronald McDonald House (Southwestern Ontario) was a place of comfort and calm. We are eternally grateful for the support and care we received from the wonderful volunteers and staff. Little things like the "welcome bag" filled with the essentials, having snacks we could grab on the go between visits with our baby in the NICU, having a breast pump available I could go on and on, but all those "little" things made a huge difference in an otherwise crazy time for us. Because we were so well cared for by RMH we were then able to give 100% to our baby girl. Today she is thriving and I know it is because she had all the support she needed from us and from the wonderful hospital staff at LHSC at the beginning of her life, and RMH is a big part of that! From the bottom of our hearts, THANK-YOU!

Ronald McDonald house in London has been a godsend. When my son was hospitalized 5 times last year due to crohns complications they provided a place for my daughter and I to stay at. This December my son and I stayed in house and were tremendously blessed with Christmas gifts more than what we picked out from the Christmas store. If anyone would like to find an organization to make a donation to for year end Ronald McDonald house is a great place to give to.

I am currently a guest at the Ronald McDonald house, I have never known the generous nature of this house until now, it is very unfortunate as to why I am here, but the volunteers and the other guests make it an outstanding stay! In future if I can help this house in anyway I will for sure! I am so thrilled to see that mankind can still help one another out in a time of need!

My wife and I stayed at the Ronald McDonald house in Windsor after our son Ethan was born. He was almost 8 weeks early and we stayed there for 28 days! The staff at the house was outstanding, they were so kind and did anything possible to make sure we were comfortable, made sure we ate, and offered any assistance that we needed. Thank you so much to everyone at the Ronald McDonald house at Windsor Regional Hospital you are all amazing!!
