They dragged us down for "employee pricing" but the sales were better than any "employee pricing", the cashier was super rude. What a waste of a sale. Wasted my time.

Sometimes good service other times it's very poor despite lots of available staff. It's been this way for years. It's a shame they only live up to the Cabela's experience half the time.

This place is the absolute worst for placing online orders. Buyer beware. They pre-authorized my credit card for an order then when my order became available tried to place the order again but didn't release the initial pre-authorization they took on my card so now the order is being declined. You call and they are completely confused , can't help , won't do anything but tell me I have to wait 3 business days for the finance department to figure it out. Worst customer service. I will never buy another thing from this place and I recommend that you do the same. Buyer beware. Be ready to have double the amount you need for your order so you can get your order to actually ship. Worst nightmare. Save your self the hassle and just purchase your items from another place.
It'll probably take them 1 month to cancel the pre-authorization on my credit card. I give them a 0 for customer service .response / report this review -

A great selection of hunting and outdoor gear. They are a bit pricey but the quality if their goods is pretty high as well. One of the clerk's I spoke to was less than helpful but perhaps it was an off day for them. The gun library is one if the best features if the store.

Cabelas - THE premiere outdoor store. The very best of the very best names in hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and all other endeavours outdoors. Great products, great prices and great service. The Cabelas name brand products are of equal quality to the name brands that have been around for years.

Amazing Store, always Got some amazing Deals and the selection of inventory is outstanding. And they have some of the best policies when it comes to customer satisfaction I have never had an issue returning a product for a missing part, or any defective parts. they even went as far as to open another box to give me my missing pieces (the opened product goes to the "Discount Cave" to be sold of at a reduced rate!

I had to return something which was a quick and friendly experience. The store was spacious and very clean. While looking around I was asked if I needed any help and the cashier was very friendly. I would go back. Oh and there's lots of parking.

Went in specifically to purchase hiking backpacks. Spoke with Darryl who was truly an expert in his area of the store. He fitted us properly and explained all the features of our chosen bag. He was friendly and took care of our needs on every level. Gorgeous store with lots of parking too and oh yeah, in-store made FUDGE!

They rarely have all the items that are advertised on the website, nor will they special order an item from a manufacturer that they carry but may not stock a particular model.

The stocked fly tying materials are a real disappointment. Half the items are out of stock. This department is sadly lacking.

They usually have what I am looking for. It is a bit hit and miss on staff asking if they can assist me to find what I am looking for in that huge store. I have gone and there were staff standing right at the entrance asking if they could help (loved that). I have gone on other occasions and just wandered around trying to locate the items on my list and very few staff in sight to ask for assistance.

Great hunting and shooting supplies. Even has a fireplace with nice big seats out front for my wife. Win win for all! Nice bathrooms.
