I had my bike in for repair, it took a little longer than expected, however it was done right. The gears worked great and the brakes felt crisp and strong.

I was just in. Have tubeless tires. Both flat. I am not a bike mechanic, but Dave filled up both tires with air. He then gave the bike back to me. I said how do you know if I have a hole in the tire or whether it slipped off the rim? Did you maybe want to spray some soap suds on the tires just to make sure it's not leaking at stems and or tire itself. He said nope, give it a couple days if it's flat bring it back. Not the best advice or due diligence. A customer should not have to come back again for this scenario. No one else in store so he had time to review properly. Just not an impressive bike shop. It has such potential in this neighborhood. Poor selection as well. I don't see how they make money? I give Goochs another go, but I'm not hopeful

Gooch's did a great job with my bike tune-up! Replaced old cables, tightened up my brakes, and cleaned it stem to stern! And because I took it in during the winter, it cost $20 less than if I waited until summer! Thanks Gooch's!

For years it has been Politically correct to not shop at this store. By not shopping here you are some how sticking it too the man. Thirty years ago we would say if you need it Gooches have it. But you will pay for the service. I went in and paid a average price for a average rear wheel and its lasted me a better then average time. The staff were prompt and nice . And I will no doubt go again should the need arise. If worse they can say about you is that you are grumpy. And you want money. Then Welcome to Winnipeg. Glad to do business with you .

Wanted to like this place. Have patronized on a few occasions in the past. Went in to get a new cap for my tube (which they had replaced, clearly didn't screw it on tightly enough in the first place - less than two weeks ago). The guy filled my tire, I left, within minutes the tube exploded ripping my tire out. I went back, he said to me (rudely), "it wasn't like that when you left". Charged me 30 dollars for a new tire. Very poor customer service and a bad attitude. Don't go there if you can avoid it.

I brought my bike in for wheel truing and a repair to my rear brake. I let them know I used the bike as a daily commuter. After 8 days I stopped in to pick the bike up but repairs hadn't started. Apparently they don't carry Norco parts so they couldn't fix the brake and they hadn't started on the wheels. They didn't mention it when I dropped the bike off and there was no reason the wheels couldn't have been trued. The guy said he had meant to call me but hadn't gotten to it yet.

Terrible customer service. Don't take your bike there!
