Friendly staff, great place to book Disney vacations if you don't want to bother with all the planning. They also have a good selection of travel related products/gear. Passport photos are available.

In mid-July, 2017 I went to the East Mall CAA location in Toronto in order to get a triptik for my trip in the USA & Ontario as well as get maps & guides. I spent probably about 20 minutes there, providing information to the CAA employee on my exact route.
The employee diligently entered everything in the computer and said it would be mailed to me in the beginning of August.
As to maps and guides, I was quite disappointed because I only received the Ontario map & guide—there were no maps & guides of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan available. I was told to come back in several days to get them.
At the end of August, when I was coming back from my vacation, I picked up the remaining guides & maps from the Bellville CAA office—it was a little out of my way, but I did not want to take any chances with the East Mall CAA office.
As of August 14, 2017, I had not received the triptik. I called the main CAA number and was told that there was no record of my triptik or of my visit to the East Mall CAA office.
Subsequently I called the CAA East Mall office. After being put on hold for at least 30 minutes, I finally spoke to somebody. She told me that she was unable to find anything about my Minnesota triptik in the computer either. She offered to make a new one and suggested that I make one myself online, but at this point I gave up—I had already spent too much time visiting two CAA offices and then calling them.
The same day I emailed this message to CAA; six days later I am still waiting for the reply.
I am really disappointed with the level of service I received—or rather did NOT receive!response / report this review -

CAA has wiped out my day. My family and I have been a Premium member for years and never used the service waiting for the day that it was really needed to help with an emergency. Well today was the day I needed them and they totally abandoned me.
I had a mechanical breakdown on the 401 this morning and finally go to use my CCA membership. I called in and was told that a tow truck would arrive in 30 minutes. I waited for 1.5 hours and called to see when the tow truck would arrive. I was told that due to new software installed two days earlier that the system failed and MANY people received the same non service. At that point I flagged down a tow truck and got a tow.
Also, it took hours to get them on the phone to see how to be reimbursed for the tow. They claim that they are swamped with complaints.
I am going to cancel my membership as the CAA is useless. Be well advised to stay away form this con artists.response / report this review -

I have been into the store numerous times and have always had pleasant service. While I cannot write about phone calls, I know that if I was a customer *at the location* and the salesperson had to constantly answer the phone, I would get annoyed at the interruptions in my service.
In-store service should get top priority versus phone calls any day.response / report this review
