Efficient staff. Very friendly. For my first appointment I felt like I got a thorough examination. The use of their gym facility was convenient, especially during COVID times when my building gym is closed. I left feeling fluke I was in good hands and my injuries will be improved.

Through my own positive experiences and those of friends that have also been treated, I can’t recommend Kerry enough. She is thorough, effective and very easy to talk to.

Kaitlyn Casper is the best! My partner and I have been seeing her for a few years now. She has helped both of us recover from different sports injuries, a tricep reattachment surgery and also issues with such as knee pain and overall body alignment. She is incredibly kind, thorough and genuinely cares about her patients. She gets super curious to help diagnose and treat different issues. Also, if you’re looking for IMS that is super effective and also gentle, she’s your gal. We have nothing but good things to say about Kaitlyn! Thank you for everything.

Shahab did a great job. Explained everything clearly, thoroughly, and patiently. Appeared very experienced and knowledgeable. I went away confident in his ability and secure in his care.

I have been going to burrardphysio for about a year now. It is very easy to book an appointment online and the ladies working at the reception are very helpful if you need to change or cancel your appointment .

My physio, Kaitlyn, is the best physiotherapist in the history of Physiotherapy.
Her treatments are just right and succinct. No confusion, and she always knows what she is doing . She is highly skilled in performing IMS and targets the right spots. Had referred friends and they all love going to BurrardPhysio.

The physiotherapist treating me, Karma Bhutia, is professional, focused, methodical, understanding and helpful. I am very happy with the results achieved in only a few sessions and can highly recommend him.

Kaitlyn Casper is hands down one of the best physios you could ask for; she listens , assesses very carefully ,provides you excellent care and then any exercises you may need to keep your body in health after your session. She also coaches weightlifting and cross fit so the girl knows her stuff- used to be a pro athlete herself I believe . Highly recommend

I went to Burrard Physiotherapy for a lower back muscle strain. I saw physiotherapist Thomas Zhou. During my first appointment he performed a thorough assessment, and after he made a diagnosis he provided therapeutic services accordingly. Aside from the therapeutic care during my visits he also provided stretching and strenghtening exercises that were customized to my needs. The exercises have clear instructions complete with photos and videos, which were available online. Thomas is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Karma is an incredible physiotherapist who I recommend to all of my friends and family. I previously went to a different physio at another clinic for lower back pain (I dance professionally outside of my corporate job) and the other physio made it worse and did not understand my scoliosis. Karma took the time, care and attention to assess what was going on and was exact and meticulous with using IMS. I recovered quickly and was so grateful to be back on my feet dancing again! When I recently injured my ankle, Karma again came to the rescue and healed me in time for my performances. Thank you Karma, and also to the kind front desk staff at Burrard Physio!

I've dealt with lower back pain while working in Vancouver. Went to this place twice. The first time I wasn't able to get off the table let alone tie my shoe laces. The RMT felt really bad about it and suggested he'd email me a worksheet (stretches) which never happened. Second time - same lower back pain issue - another RMT felt so bad that they didn't charge me for my visit. Again, I was unable to walk after this visit. I went there during my lunch break and had to make my way home as I wasn't able to sit any longer. Went to another RMT in PoCo who helped me get better.

Exceptional team of caring, knowledgeable professionals. I've had successful treatments for both repetitive stress and sports related injuries with several members of the team--Kerry, Shehab and Ian. Excellent assessment, great listening, friendly staff and flexible range of up-to-date treatment approaches.

I've sought treatment from 2 other physiotherapists for my nagging jumper's knee in the past. Thomas Zhou was not only able to help treat my condition he spent the time to explain what was causing my knee pain and making sure I was doing the exercises properly. Of the 8 or so times Ive gone to the clinic it usually runs on time and is conveniently booked online and they send emails with proper descriptions of the exercises. Highly recommend this place

I was very badly received by one of the receptionists. When I called to schedule I was told that it would be 45 minutes to the session, and actually it was less than 30 minutes, when I questioned the physiotherapist she said she could not do anything because she had another patient waiting, super rude, in a bad mood. I had a calf problem and instead of physical therapy improving the situation, it actually made the situation worse. I have now my stiff and aching calf muscle and it was not like this. I called several times to talk to the physiotherapist, they told me she was not there. Summing up very poor service, and very poor service provided by the physiotherapist. I do not recommend it to anyone and if I could I wanted my money back.

I received excellent, compassionate, and respectful treatment at Burrard Physiotherapy. Farhana Abdul Kadir, Carly Russel, and Erika Kosarko were professional, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The front desk team has been very accommodating and everyone at the clinic has made me feel welcome and cared for. Treatments were tailored to my symptoms and I also learned a lot, so I am now able to continue with exercises at home. Thank you!

I was seen by Dr.Bahareh Ghanbari for 10 sessions or so at Burrard Physio. It is a couple of months past since my last apppointment and my pain is not back, even in slight amount. The pain lasting for more than 10 years is gone. Now every day single day without pain, every good night sleep, and every long flight without discomfort is a blessing. I think my life is changed for the better. A friend of mine suggested this is a good way to thank her, so here you go: Thank you Bahareh for your help, you have got magical hands. Thank you Burrard Physio for making treatments affordable for everyone.

I have worked as a Physio in many clinics since graduation in 2005 and I still do, but I must say here, that Burrard Physiotherapy is one of the best and highly equipped physiotherapy clinic with modalities that many clinics do not have, for example Shock wave Unit/ antigravity treadmill( alter G). The clinic is very spacious with lots of private treatment rooms and fully well equipped gym. Some of the machines may definitely look old but as pointed out they are regularly well calibrated and has the same therapeutic effect as the new ones! I am very proud to be a part of Burrard Physiotherapy .

Dirty stinky pillows, towels that are not changed for every patient and by the end of the day they are placed on at least 20 bodies without being washed or changed. Staff are more than busy to clean up after many patients they see in one day. And finally some ANCIENT equipment. I made a joke about one of the stimulators my therapist put on me saying that I bet it belongs to the Stone Age. He smiled but did not get the point I hardly believed that antique unit can do anything for my severe pain. i now prefer smaller clinics as they can be more hygienic or have more up to date equipment.

    In response to the owner:

    1. My pillow smelled bad, it was covered only by a piece of recycled paper towel,.I took a shower when I got home right away!
    2. Pillow covers and towels are all chosen from darker colours, so not sure how clean they are. I observed my Physiotherapist putting my towel away to dry, the moist towel that was put directly on my bare skin for more than 10 min.
    3. I appreciate you concern about global warming which is serving you well. Let's put it this way, Do you buy my ancient cell phone (which is still functioning) for the price of an iPhone?
    4. I choose to post anonymously just to avoid getting calls from businesses. You took all my contact info, my cell, home and work numbers, email and home address, remember?
    5. For the same fee I prefer a more up to date, tidier place. that is all.
