My husband and I recently ate at Blumens when we took a short vacation a couple of weeks ago. If we could give it 10* we would. The service, the ambience (I asked for something quiet) and we were given a room with 3 tables. Beautiful!) We enjoy good food and Blumens went way above our expectations. From the appetizers to the main courses, duck for my husband and lamb for myself, the food was exquisitely displayed and absolutely fantastic. My Daughter is a chef and my husband a master griller so we know good when we eat it. The owner, who I understand is Swiss, is very particular in that his platings must be perfect and they were. I asked to change something with my dish and they were very accommodating. The dishes are also VERY plentiful so you are not hungry when done the main course. The wine was also delicious. We did not have any room for dessert but the cappuccinos were perfect. Even the price for our dinner was below what we thought it should cost. This has to be the finest restaurant in Prince Edward County. We would almost drive the 2 hours again just to eat there, that’s how amazing our night was. Absolutely recommended.

Recently moved to Picton, living less than a kilometre away and everyone telling us Blumen is THE place to eat we had to try it. Two tries for reservations and no room told us it has to be good. Third time was a charm. We took some friend from Oakville and knew it would impress. Blumen, exceeded our expectations. The service, food and ambiance will definitely keep us coming back and recommending them as a must to our friends and guests.

Having moved to the area just a few months back from Toronto, my husband and I didn't know if we would find many restaurants that were going to top our favourite places to dine. We stand corrected, Peter and I will be happy to come back to Blūmen often. First of all the food is simply amazing, we aren't this blown away that often and certainly not blown away with each and every plate that lands on our table, but at Blūmen we were! The staff and service was impeccable, the atmosphere is magical and it feels like fine dinning, but it also feels like home. We just simply cannot say enough and we cannot wait to return and make our way through this wonderful menu. Thank you to all the staff. See you again soon!!

My brother and wife had been here a month earlier so we were lucky to have "discovered" it through them. A couple of wineries we visited raved when they heard we were going here. Wow, were the locals right!
We started with a cream of golden beet soup with creme fraiche, roasted apples and nuts as well as chick pea fries. The fries were the only downfall as we found them way too salty even though we love salty.
We both could not resist the pulled rabbit gnocchi with oyster mushrooms . amazing and a large portion. We had a Long Dog Pinot Noir from the County that was recommended by our server and just beautiful with the main course.
We ended with a butterscotch creme brulee that was perfect to share!
Tanzi (sp?) was a lovely, helpful server!

Amazing dinner for our 35th Anniversary. Seared tuna and Chickpea fries appetizers were just the tip of the iceberg of flavour. Our Scallop and Lamb entrees could not have been any better prepared, taste, presentation and temperature in perfect balance on both of these dishes. Underneath it all (staying with the iceberg analogy) was the pear/mango sorbet for desert. I can't recall such a concentration of fresh flavour ever in a dessert. Great service and environment as well!

Best meal and service I have had in a long time! Took a chance that we might get a table without a reservation. The place was packed but had a glass of wine at the bar and managed to get a table within ten minutes. phenomenal risotto! Prime rib was to die for. Leave room for dessert because the creme brûlée with vanilla bean and the lemon tartlet with lavender merengue were both spectacular. Staff worked as a team so you want for nothing and a nice touch that the chef came out to ensure we all had enjoyed our meal.

Thank you to Blumen and all their staff for helping me pull of a surprise 65th birthday dinner for my husband last night. The atmosphere, the food, the people were second to none. We all were able to order what we wanted for dinner and to our amazement it all came out together, hot and delicious. The portions were excellent, the quality of the food delicious. We took our own birthday cake in and to our surprise they unboxed it and plated it and made it look beautiful. None one of our guests had anything negative to say only have wonderful the food and atmosphere was. A shout out to all the serving staff, they didn't rush and were not over bearing - which is a sure treat - so many restaurants should take a few lessons from them. We will definitely be back. My family and I are lucky enough to live on the County and this restaurant is our absolute favourite. We visit regularly and are never disappointed. The food is always amazing and Andi and the staff are just wonderful. For visitors to the County, you should definitely make this top of your list of places to eat - we love it!

Absolutely best meal and service I have had in years. The food was absolutely to die for and the price was reasonable. The staff was very friendly and cheerful and went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. I will definitely be returning

We had a great evening and a fabulous dinner! The staff was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable and so helpful with everything for our large group. This restaurant was recommended to me by a few people and quite honestly I was somewhat expecting that I would be disappointed, that it couldn't possibly be THAT good. Well it was probably the best dining experience I have had in years! The food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxed and comfortable and the service was outstanding! We will definitely be backsoon.

Food was good when it finally came. Had a 8pm seating and the food came at 9:20!!!!

We had dinner at blumen last night for my birthday thanks to friends who gave us a gift card and highly recommended it. I am so glad they did! We had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere and staff, very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Usually when you order from a gourmet menu you can expect small portions. Not at blumen. I left that restaurant feeling like my clothes were going to burst at any minute. The food was so good that I didn't want to leave anything on my plate. The staff was wonderful, attentive but not annoying and very pleasant. Exactly the experience I want when I go out for the night. WELL DONE!

We absolutely love this place. Superb service and outstanding food! Every course we have tried at Blumen is exceptional. Amazing soups. Best steak around anywhere!

Blumen raises to the occasion once again! My birthday dinner was stupendous! The trout and prime rib . Where to begin? Amazing! From the shrimp cocktail appetizers to the tiramisu! World class And the service, Jason, the icing on the cake! Thank you for a fabulous night!

Blumen Garden Bistro definitely is worth my 5 star rating. They boast a beautiful menu where everyone (even the vegetarians, myself included) will leave feeling satisfied. The wine list is brilliant as well. The staff at Blumen are warm, inviting and clearly wish for you and your party to sit back and enjoy your dining experience. You can't help but be blissful in Blumen's relaxing & stunning atmosphere. A leisurely stroll through their phenomenal gardens (when in season) with your wine is breath taking. I look forward to our next visit.

Our group ate here after a wine tour in PEC. The food and service were excellent. I was thrilled to see a vegetarian entree that wasn't pasta. I will have to go back to try the famous chickpea fries.

Fantastic food & friendly service. Don't let the modest exterior fool you. Rear patio decore could use some upgrades, perhaps patio stones rather than gravel and trim some bushes. Still l rate it FIVE star based on food quality. Worth your visit
