I love this place! Amy is the only one who ive eve had do my nails and they always turn out perfect! Highly recommend this nail salon! its super clean and beautiful too.
Stay far away from this place. I booked my appointment for a manicure/pedicure online and went in, where they told me no one could help me because some of my nails still had a bit of an acrylic tip and the lady didn't know how to work with acrylics. I explained to her I just wanted a colour change, and not a fill but they refused and re-booked it for the following day. I still went back, my mistake, and had a girl do the pedicure first. There was no massage, and the nails on my toes weren't even straight. After pointing it out, she did straighten them. Then she started trying to do my hands while I was still sitting in the pedicure chair and my feet were done. There were numerous tables available. Eventually, she brought me upstairs, where there was no one, to do my hands. She didn't cut the cuticles, clean the nails, or do anything but change the colour. Again, when I pointed this out, she started doing them. She was on the phone with her boyfriend, the entire time. Complaining how she hadn't eaten all day, and that she would be there in 5 minutes the colour wasn't even applied to my nails let alone the icing I asked for. When she started the icing, I asked her, many times, if she can guarantee they won't fall out. I had my wedding the next day. She groaned and rolled her eyes and said they would. The following day, almost all of the stones (which they call Swarovski) fell out. On my wedding day. I had pre-booked an appointment for the symbolic celebration wedding, with the same girl, not knowing, and changed it when leaving. Five minutes later, they called me, not leaving a message. After calling them back, they wanted to change the appointment. I decided maybe It was just the girl I got, and agreed. I tried to book another appointment to book the broken stones the following day which they accepted, at no charge, but then called again, a few minutes later to change it. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and organization of what looks to be a beautiful place. Sometimes, what you pay for is not what you get. Save your money.
Got my nails done here before and they looked the worse out of any other nail salon I’ve gotten it done before. It’s also pricer and my nails felt flimsier. Do not recommend
Inspite of charging more the staff is very very rude. I went for mani pedi and my fingers were bleeding and they just ignored as if they did nothing. I wouldn't recommend this store.
Just spoke with the place on phone , didn't finish sentences and got cut off. Extremely rude.
I got a great gel mani and a regular pedi. The place is nice. I'm giving 3 stars because I ended up bleeding from my pedi as the technician was too harsh when clipping my nails, I would not go back as I did not see or hear anything about how they disinfect the utensils and I'd rather go some other salons where I see them use new stuff in front of me.
I went for a mani-pedi yesterday. The work they did was good, their attitude, not so good. One manicurist wouldn't speak to me or make eye contact. They left me in the chair and walked out of the store with their coats on towards the end of my session. They didn't tell me they were coming back. When they didn't return, I got myself out of my chair, with the help of the receptionist, and started to pay. They came back as I was leaving. The polish on one of my toe's smudged and the girl was nice enough to paint it again as I was leaving. They're good at their job but they made it clear they didn't care about me. I won't be going back.
Got my nails done here recently and I would definitely recommend. They have a great colour selection of regular polish. When the staff mixed up the appointments that I was booked for I received an apology, and a discounted rate for the longer time I had to wait.
I got marble gel manicure on nature nails by Michael. Nice place, decent work. Michael accidentally cut my cuticle too deep and it couldn't stop bleeding. But he was very polite and sorry about the cut. Price is a bit high, I remember gel mani was like $40, marble was an extra $20 (acrylic was around $70 I think, without groupon), but I actually got free mani because of the cut. Generally, I like this place and love the manicure I got. One star off for the price.
Truly disappointed after all of the social media advertising and reputation. I was expecting results that would impress me, instead I got the worst manicure I've ever got. The girl who did my nails looked so young and couldn't really understand what I was saying most of the time, I asked for almond shaped nails (got the name of the shape for their instagram posts) yet she didn't know what almond shape looked like, but made sure I was satisfied with the final shape that she did. When she first started cutting my nails she was getting some of the skin under the nail and about to cut me in almost each finger, I kept pulling my hand and trying to explain to her but she didn't understand me or realized/saw what she was doing, until she used cuticle nipper to cut my nails with. Getting to the worst part, pushing and cutting cuticles, she pushed way too much and when she started cutting the cuticles i bled in three fingers and she blamed it on my "sensitive skin", kept asking me if it hurts ( I don't know what would she do if i said yes it hurts), she didn't know how to stop the excessive bleeding in one finger and believed that letting it bleed (without cleaning it immediately) until it stops by itself was the way to go. Moving to the other hand, cutting cuticles very carefully, she was done with no injuries and started filing my nails, while the other finger is still bleeding, in the middle of filing my nails she grabbed the cuticle nipper and cut more skin until i bled again :/. To be honest, other than the cuticle cutting part her work was fine. I would give the salon another try with a different worker, however, it won't be the first salon to go to when i want to do my nails. The receptionist didn't bother asking me if i was satisfied with the service and saw me going to the counter to pay and didn't come immediately and let me wait for her. Not what you would expect to get when paying that amount of money.
You can see in the picture how badly the cuticles were cut and the remaining blood. (This picture is a week after i got them done!)
My daughter and I went in for pedis a couple of days ago and we both just loved it! I got a pedi only, and my daughter had an express pedi and a manicure. Each of our nail techs was friendly and professional. I really have not had such good customer service before when getting a pedicure anywhere. I have been to two other salons in the area for a pedicure since moving here recently, and at each one I had to ask the nail tech to be more careful because she was hurting me. That was certainly not the case at Bling, and it was still a thorough nail care service. I felt the price was quite reasonable, especially given the quality.
This is the only place I'd get my nails done in Vancouver. The staff is incredibly friendly and accomodating even when they are super busy (like right now for the holidays). The techs take their time and are meticulous at shaping your nails and tidying your cuticles. They are capable artists as well! I find that the quality of their products are top quality too, my nails last up to 4 weeks without a single chip.
My nails have lasted almost 4 weeks, and I have been renovating an office during that time! Their service was excellent, the techs were so friendly and wonderful. I brought my friend here for part of her bachelorette with a group of girls and am so pleased at the treatment and results we got!
