I love this place. Especially the lovely people who work here. I was never super loyal to any hairdresser. I always chased the big savings or convenience of who could see me right away. Not so. They broke me. After booking with Ali for three years, I’m broken. She fixed me from years of damage. She always had interesting world views to discuss. I brought my puppy to meet her. We have been through break ups, big moves, reinventing ourselves.everything. The hairdressers here invest in you. I must say, I’ve moved out of the city. Far away. I’ll still find a way to come home.

what an amazing shop. I have been looking for a new place to get my hair cut, and found my new favorite place!! Lorri is the owner and her passion is evident by the way her shop is run and the staff she employs. Attention to detail is a priority when you choose a hair salon. Make sure to check our Kokopelli. My girlfriend went there and she is very happy about her haircut that she got from aaryn! I was happy for the free wifi that i could use during the time waiting. And yeah the haircut looks great!

I have been going to see Lorri for so long she would rather me not mention as we would be aging ourselves! I used to be able to walk to get my haircut where she started out. Now I drive or sky train.

The salon is a great casual place with non pretentious people, tea and coffee served, sometimes some great baking nibbles on a Saturday, kid and dog friendly (my son will come along sometimes and hang out while i get my hair done), parking in the back, street parking in the front. Lorri and her staff are active in charity work too. A really special place in Vancouver!

I've had only gone to other places for my haircut a handful of times due to schedules and travel in my adult life. Each time was with regret. Lorri simply is one the of best in the business and not easily matched in this city. My hair has a funny pattern for growth and not easily trimmed/cut/styled/coloured right. As long as I'm able to, I'll be going to Kokopelli. I look incredibly good after a visit and get compliments everywhere each time!
