  I am in love with everything about Blanche Macdonald! The students and the staff are wonderful! You must want to actually learn though to enjoy it! :) The staff are helpful. patient and very talented!
  November I moved to B.C to attend to school and from the start they were amazing to help me with school and pursue my career! I am already volunteering in tv/film! It's amazing to see your name on a call sheet, and this is just the start!
  Honestly, I have nothing negative to say! You just must respect the staff to recieve respect and that's everywhere you go!
  They help you and prepare you for the real world out there, you must take this seriously, cause after all this is what you want!

  My experience at Blanche MacDonald was a great one, so much so that I am now working with the company. From the first day of my program I had always imagined myself working with the company. The culture was everything I imagined my dream job to be; everyone was friendly and had so much passion for their role at the college. During my Studies within the Fashion Merchandising program I learned about the history of fashion as well as industry relevant information that helped me gain experience in my field. The opportunities for volunteer work, internships and paid positions within my industry were endless thanks to the career advisors Blanche MacDonald provided. The learning environment was exceptional and paved the way for the education I would later work towards. Blanche Macdonald was my first post secondary experience outside of high school and although a scary and daunting experience for many young adults, it exceeded my expectations. Each teacher within the program worked in the industry and had the knowledge needed to educate the students in a way that helped mold us into well-informed individuals who could go out into the workforce and gain valuable practice. My experience with Blanche Macdonald is one that I ill never forget, and always respect. I highly recommend Blanche Macdonald as a place to gain higher education in an environment catered to meet each student’s need and shape you into a qualified individual for your chosen career path.

  I am Graduating Blanche Macdonald in a few days. I have loved my experiences here and i cannot say enough about this program. All the teachers here know what they are doing, and each brings a different skill set to the table in which you can learn from. They all have invaluable sources of knowledge that are at your disposal while you study here, and even after you graduate. If you go here you can always come back and say hi to the teachers and ask advice. I has seen countless students come in and do this. I have had the pleasure of getting work experiences at a few of the best salons in the Vancouver area and have made great contacts while going here. If you get your name out there from the start by volunteering for photo shoots, runways, and movie sets like I did, there will always be people looking to see if you would like to do more volunteer work, and eventually you will be offered payed positions. I think Blanche Macdonald has not only gotten me ready for going out into the hair industry and flourishing, but I could go into almost any industry now. They have such a well rounded curriculum, that I still cannot believe how much I have learned. This includes how to write a resume, how to build a business, how to make noticeable advertising and of course so so SO much about hair. I truly believe that Blanche Macdonald has overachieved in giving me the best, most up to date, all inclusive skill set to get me into any salon I wanted. I cannot thank you guys enough for always believing in me and showing me the ropes.

  I Graduated from the fashion design program last year and it was very informative and a great learning experience. Starting off not Knowing anything about fashion and all the hard work that go's into the process, I left with enough confidence to build my own clothing line from the ground up. It has been challenging but even after graduating the directors,teachers and career resources are always willing to answer questions and help in any way they can. Thanks for all the knowledge and support. Cheerio

  I am a recent graduate from the Pro Hair Program at Blanche Macdonald. I am so happy I decided to attend Blanche for my schooling!! It was an intense 11 months but the knowledge that I took from there was invaluable. With such a wide variety of teachers you learnt not one or two but several different techniques on a wide range of things from basic cutting to advance designs. They teach you so much more then just cutting hair I loved the business class and the make up module is unique to the program. I landed an apprenticeship before I was even done school at my dream job in an amazing location. I defiantly recommend this course to anyone who is considering making hair design there future career.
