  They are closed from Dec 25th till Jan 11th due to lockdown.
  
  I recently found this marvel of a bakery and became a fan. My plan is to visit it once a week. The main difference between the Black Forest and other bakeries is that it’s NOT TOO SWEET. They don’t use an insane making the of sugar in their desserts, and you can actually taste how scrumptious they are.
  
  My favourites so far are:
  - butter tarts
  - white chocolate cookies (the milk chocolate is fine too, but the white ones are 10 out of 10!)
  - the coconut cupcake.
  
  Highly recommend it. And the prices are very reasonable, especially compared to Toronto.

  One year for my dad's birthday, I was running late and stopped in and bought him an apple pie. After tasting it, he said he never wants another birthday cake - he wants an apple pie! It was sooo delicious!

  Amazing food-always delicious and full of love! Everything is great but I recommend the quiche, it is out of this world! I can't recommend this place enough, and the family who run it are lovely :)

  This bakery has never disappointed. I've bought cakes from the bakery at fortinos and loeblaws the Black Forest cake here is 100X better. The liquer inside tastes right. The whipped cream is rich and the shaved choclate on top is great quality. This place also offers butter tarts that are amazing. My tip for you is to avoid going here on saturdays its crazy busy. Also, chocolate cookies I get all types but very addictive don't sit down with a whole bag you'll eat them all haha

  Every time we go downtown Oakville we stop in for treats. Recommended Oakville Stop and Shop.
