Just recently found out I was sold a rail damaged, demo car at full price and high interest when it was supposed to be "Brand New" The car being a demo car and people pushing the engine before proper break in is likely what caused my oil leak, which was fixed under warranty by Crown as the Birchwood Service department didn't seem to care much about me after the sale was made, so I have been maintaining my car at Crown Honda and they have done great work.
I was thinking of giving Birchwood another chance but when I they are still selling damaged cars at full price, I continue to be disappointed, making Honda look bad, enough that I felt the need to come back and change my reviewresponse / report this review -

People very nice, but trained to up sell far too much. How can an oil change at 66k km’s turn into a $600 wild goose chase to completely disassemble brakes to “look” at them when there are absolutely no symptoms of brake problems, and the service rep scares you that it may impact your warranty if you do not take the service!! Talk about feeling taken advantage of. Beware, have some common sense or ask a good car person that you know to be on standby to talk to.

I bought CIVIC HATCH back from the Sales person Yoko, she is the best. Help me got best price in the city and great service after i bought the car. The Finance manger is great too. Recommend this dealership.

After sale experience was a nightmare!
The 'golden warranty' covered almost nothing (but only told that after losing a day and being quoted a huge price to fix an issue you thought was covered by warranty). Even trying to exercise it was an endurance test.
There were always surprise charges after maintenance, which my local mechanic assured me afterward was not needed.
Finally after reaching out to me, calling me and offering to buy back a vehicle I owned, they made me wait around for nearly an hour, forgot about me, then offered me a pittance.
The customer service in this dealership is remarkably poor, and I recommend anyone considering buying or servicing a vehicle to go elsewhere.
When every experience with this dealership over the last few years leaves me angry and exploited, you know this is a bad sign. Learn from my mistakes and stay away.response / report this review -

I bought a used car at Birchwood Honda West, Yoko was my sales, she was very professional and open, gave me many valuable suggests about car features and car selection, patiently introduce the warranty policy from Birchwood Honda West. She even drove two of my interested cars to my home and let me have a try when I was busy.

Yoko is the sales my friend recommended to me. After buying the car I recommend her to my friends who need to buy Honda. She is quite helpful and quick in response. My friends and I get a good deal from her. And most important, when my car suffered a rare system alert I contacted Yoko at the first time and she comfort me and told me she would help me. Finally, Honda birchwood west decided to change a new car instead of repair it for me. I would like to thanks for Honda birchwood west and thanks for Yoko. You could get great deal as well as great after-sale service.

I have to say Birchwood Honda service is much beyond my expecting. I bought a used car 2 months ago, but there was a little problem related to the suspension after 2000kms driving. I thought I have to pay the bill, but Yoko help me to cover it because Birchwood has 3 months guarantee for safety features which saved me a big money. I am so excited! Birchwood Honda is the best dealer if you need a good after service.

Honda's sell themselves for quality vehicles but the staff at Birchwood Honda were amazing. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and went out of there way to accommodate.

This place scammed me out of $630 for six spark plugs. I will repeat that!!!! $630 for changing the spark plugs. The initial quote was hundreds of dollars cheaper. Some how they needed "other" things tacked on that was never explained to me on the phone. Once they had

Everything from sales to financing to the departure team was a great experience. Derek R. Is an absolute gem to his clients. I couldn't be happier with my girlfriends Civic, and my Accord. I know where I'll be going for my next vehicle purchase.
