Excellent! Bill's items, then those of others.
Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful !
Amazing art! Worth a trip to Vancouver by itself.
A must visit for any visitor to Vancouver and BC who wants to understand a small part of First Nations Culture and History. This is also a wonderful location to pick up some unique and authentic first nations art pieces.
I loved this museum! I've learn a lot on the First Nation art and the art of Bill Reid
Looking to expand your knowledge on one of Canada's most iconic Indigenous artists while discovering the diverse artist styles of the Northwest coast? COME HERE! It's great!
Amazing works on display, a touch small and the layout is quirky in parts due to physical space limitations.
Rudest receptionist - ruined the experience. We went last year and enjoyed the art and would have recommended the gallery for a quick visit when downtown. I work in tourism and was taking part in the tourism challenge today - we walked in and were immediately chastised for talking (before we had even hit the front desk), and were then told in the deepest of sarcastic tones that we could get a stamp for our tourism challenge if we helped with her 500 receipts and end of day accounting. Unbearably condescending and rude and no way to welcome anyone, whether they're a paying or complimentary visitor. Won't go back, won't recommend.
Bill Reid's works are very unique and this place has a great collection. Everything from jewellery to totempoles to sketches. Worth visiting if in the area. It's a very small gallery and shouldn't take more than 20-40 mins.
Small gem located downtown Vancouver. Great way to appreciate Bill Reid’s beautiful art work. Also check for temporary exhibitions of contemporary Aboriginal Art of the Northwest Coast _ awesome!
Informative and interesting collection of some of Bill Reid's work.
I loved this gallery. It's quite nice seeing Bill Reid's sculptures and jewelry. It's nice that they have multimedia stuff, like videos and information panels to learn about each piece. I think it's an interesting and cool gallery to visit!
It's okay; their indigenous art collection is somewhat extensive but will be a little boring if you're someone who don't particularly enjoy this type of artwork.
