Never in all the years I have been eating the food from Bamboo Palace, have I EVER had a bad experience there. And I’ve been dealing with them for almost as long as they have been here!! The owners & staff are always wonderful to deal with, take out & delivery times are always accurate & the food is always amazing. Never ever greasy, always great portion sizes & you can’t beat their prices!!! Bamboo has set the bar high for me & as a result, it is the ONLY place I go to for Chinese Food. Thank you so much to the owners for always putting their pride & full hearts into their business, it clearly shows. Guess who’s gonna be ordering in tonight now?? 😉

Not sure why this place is given such good reviews when it comes to the food. I guess since Abbotsford lacks in restaurants you don't go by much to base it off of. The chicken chow mein was bleh. Not bad but not good. Same goes for the chicken fried rice. They also use what appears to be sandwich chicken meat (like the slices) cut up and tossed in their. The hot and sour soup though full of all the veggies, tofu, egg and shrimp which was great but it tasted more like hot and sweet soup -.- no matter how much hot sauce i threw in at home the sweetness took over. The soup also had that odd chicken. I also had the crispy ginger chicken. Now this had great texture and would have been amazing also if it were what the menu claimed, spicy. It was actually sweet. That being said it was still good but a total let down as my mom and I were in mood of some crispy spicy ginger chicken. The portion size is great for what you spend, the staff is also very nice and pleasant. I will perhaps try different items on the menu in the future to give it a second chance but I have had much better before. ****Also their food is not oily at all like some Chinese food which is a great bonus!

The best kind of Canadian-Style Chinese comfort food. Order the sweet and sour pork and slide into blissful memories of childhood take out. More authentic Chinese food as well.

Bamboo Palace is a hit in my books! Best Chinese food I've had in Abbotsford. The spring rolls were disappointing, but the seafood chow mein, though a bit heavy, was top-notch - fresh seafood, perfectly executed noodles drenched in a thick flavourful sauce. The pork ribs were fantastic! Try this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Food is great and the prices are good but their estimated times for food being ready are quite bad. One time I was told 45 minutes, so I arrived in 45 minutes. I had to wait for another 35 minutes. Another time I was told an hour and a half. I had to wait literally over an hour after I arrived in an hour and a half.
Both times I would've been fine being told the actual wait time but I think it's pretty unreasonable to show up at a time and then have actual food prep time be double that.

Really good Chinese food but they always want my cc information over the phone and I don't feel comfortable with that so I have to come in and pick it up rather than getting delivery

Nasty, the food was just horrible. There was no taste to the sweet and sour pork, the chicken fried rice tasted burnt as did the chicken chow mien, and the chop suey was probably the only thing that actually tasted good of the whole meal.
I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody, quite literally get what you pay for there.response / report this review -

Family owned and operated business. Great food and friendly servers. The best Chinese food in the Abbotsford area.
Note: It's very busy on the weekends, so I'd either just order take out or book a reservation early or late evening.never during rush hour!response / report this review
