My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Sue and Dave's Ambleside B&B in the last week of Sept. It was a great experience. The room was excellent, and Sue's breakfasts were amazing. Dave's knowledge of the region and tips for an excursion to see the sights away from the touristy areas was much appreciated. We would certainly recommend the Ambleside to others!

Not sure why there are so few reviews for this place.
Must be on Yelp or trip advisor.
I have been staying here for years, and it is my goto B&B when I am in the Canmore/Banff area.
The owners-Sue and Dave- are wonderful hosts.
The accommodations are clean and comfortable and cozy. The house is centrally located and is decorated with all kinds of beautiful rustic and area themed items.
Sue cooks absolutely wonderful breakfasts, catering to any dietary needs you may have.
Dave is Ex-military and is also a local guide. His knowledge of the area is incredible, and he is a wealth of information for anything that you might decide to do while in the area.
Honestly, you would be hard-pressed to find a better bed-and-breakfast in the area.response / report this review -

Had a great stay here! The hosts are a great couple, friendly and hospitable. The house is warm and welcoming. Our room had a private bathroom, and the common room is beautiful. It is only a 10 minute walk to Main Street. Don't bother with a hotel, just stay this great B&B!
