My students and I had a great time here. The food was good (not amazing), coffee was available nice and early for bird walks, paths through the area were beautiful, the access creatures big and small, wild and at the zoo was a real treat

A gem near the zoo. We camped but the guesthouses looked nice and the meals were tasty. Wifi good (when working) and friendly staff.

Very helpful staff; everyone is pleasant to deal with. We opted for a raised cabin with a screened in porch. It's well built, comfortable, hot and cold water, coffee in the room. Central dining room for all guests has straightforward, well made food. there are gravel paths, so guests will nether get lost nor trample the wildlife.

Also, if you're traveling around and have a longer trip back to Belize City to fly out, this is a great spot to spend the night before - avoid the full day scramble and drive the last for minutes from someplace relaxing.

Stayed at the Tropical Education Centre and visited the zoo both during the day and at night. Lovely, quiet setting, clean comfortable rooms with minor deficiencies like no towel rack or hooks. Hot showers more than made for those. Breakfast and dinner included and both were very good. Free shuttle to and from zoo. Great value for the budget conscious. I would definitely stay here again.

Has all the necessary facilities that can accommodate for a couple night overs. The food is great, rooms are comfortable (bunks only) and bathrooms are decent enough (only cause they are located outside the dorms.)

Absolutely beautiful accomodation! There's shared washrooms/showers. The dinning room is lovely and the food was great!
