This place was awesome! Quite the adventure to get out there, but well worth it. Definitely felt very remote. As if I were alone on the island. Not true, there is another small resort next door and of course the group you'll be diving with for the next few days. Still, roughly 20 people on the island.

Staff was super accommodating. I could not have been more happy with their service. Great food is guaranteed! They have an awesome chef.

I had lost my go pro upon my surfacing from my dive. Renee ( i may have spelled his name wrong) and I looked for it, but couldn't find it. So we had to pick up the rest of the divers and then finally headed back for lunch. So now its the end of the day and we are all heading back for the night. Renee had mentioned how he was going to look for the gopro while we were diving, although, I honestly figured it was a goner if I had not heard back yet. Upon docking and unloading the boat, Renee reminds me about the go pro loss again and as I begin to get a bit down about it. Renee pulls out the Gopro from behind his back and shows me as if it was a prize. I Could not believe he had actually found my gopro or even went out of his way to do that for me. Their crew know the area very well.

Renee is the perfect example of how the staff at hurican diving will go out of their way to make you feel at home or like family. If you are looking to take a trip, even by yourself, this is the spot in Belize.

Spartan accommodations, excellent cooking, spectacular diving. Because Huracan is so remote, it has access to more pristine reef than most dive resorts.
