Nice hotel right off the main road near the split. The room was very nice and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly and provided transportation to and from the water taxi as well as to the airport.

I have probably stayed at Jan’s 12 times in the last two years. I love it here. Ideal location. Amazing rooms and beds. Will continue to visit often.

Service with a smile. Staff is very accommodating and super hospitable. Rooms are spacious, and very clean. All modern fixtures and high sleep quality mattresses.

In all fairness, the facilities are new and pretty nice for Caye Caulker but we had a bottle of vodka "disappear" from the room while we were out snorkeling. When I brought it to the manager's attention, she basically called me a lier and said that she was "super bummed that the bottle was missing." I have stayed at many hotels on the island and never had to worry about my belongings left behind in the room. This will be my first and last time at Jan's.

Wow, great place! Really nice rooms, walking distance from everything on the island, nice rooftop seated, and very friendly staff! Its further from the noise than many other but on a small island, sometimes still hear people in the middle of the night. Coffee and water is included, no food but you want to get out and see the fun options anyway!

Very friendly and welcoming staff that had great accommodations. The rooms were recently furnished and were some of the nicer rooms we experienced during our 10 day trip in Belize. The staff was very friendly in providing recommendations on restaurants and guides to book our day trips with. The hotel is in a great central location between the Split and the more dense downtown with the other hotels, restaurants and bars. Be advised that they include a pick up and drop off from the water taxi which will save you $5-10 USD per trip.

If you're comin' to Caulker, you're comin' to chill, and this hotel is the spot to do it. Jan's is a sweet place with friendly, mellow staff and everything you need. Great little balconies, comfortable beds, super clean and fresh, and about ten steps from the sea!

Jan's Hotel is the best place to stay on Caye Caulker. The property is beachfront and served by a pier. The room, bed and linen are comfortable and nicely appointed. Most of the units enjoy a view of the ocean. The staff, for the most part, are helpful. The hotel meets you at the airport with a golf cart to transport you and your luggage to the property. My only reservation is the 10:30 check out time. My flight left at 1:00 so I asked for a 12:15 check out time. The hotel said I could stay until noon but no later. Given 1 of 3 days of my stay was without electricity I thought the request should have been granted. Nevertheless, when my wife and I return to Caye Caulker we will stay at Jan's Hotel.

We were so pleased with our accommodations and service we received during our stay at Jan's Hotel. Molly and Neil went above and beyond to ensure our vacation was just as we had expected -- stress free and relaxing.
The room was extremely clean, and COOL, which was great because of the humidity outside. The bed was very comfortable. And we appreciated the fact that they met us at the pier of the water taxi and dropped us off right at the front door of the hotel.
We would recommend Jan's Hotel to anyone staying in Caye Caulker. It is definitely one the top places to stay on the island. Enjoy!!!

This is my husband and I fist time ever in Belize. We are both very happy we picked Jan's hotel. From the moment we arrived in Belize they were making sure we had everything we needed. They sent a taxi for us to the airport and had someone waiting for us when we arrived off the boat to take us directly to our hotel. The room was very clean, great air condition, great views, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice. We loved it all. The beach here is beautiful and a little more to the end of the heavier people traffic so it is pretty peaceful. They also have security all night, so we felt super safe.

Stayed here at the beginning of November. Initially we were booked in one of the "affordable" hotels and it was not our style. We stopped in at Jan's Hotel, which was just perfect. Air-conditioning, cable TV, nice furnishings, and great bed. I would venture to say this is one of the better hotels on the island. Definitely worth the price.
