We stayed here while on San Pedro and have to say it was very easy. There is a bar at the hotel which is nice and the pool is one of the better ones for the smaller hotels along the beach. Good access to restaurants etc tho this is the case for most places. No coffee or fridge facilities in the rooms however which would have been a plus.

Tides Resort was fantastic. It is a no frills place. We didn't come to San Pedro to sit in a room all day. We came to play. The office manager, Tula, is absolutely wonderful and very helpful with our adventures and dining needs. Our room was very clean. We were walking distance to everything and if you don't want to walk renting a golf cart is easy. The food is incredible on the island. We used Caribbean Adventures and they were just as professional as Tides Resort. My kids loved the tubing, zipline, and snorkeling. They also supplied our golf cart. David from Caribbean Adventures is the man to see, if you want a person passionate about everyone having the best experience possible. THUMBS UP TO TULA AND DAVID. You made us believe in the belizean experience.

Pretty decent place, the bar downstairs is great and Raymond will take care of you! $2.50 for mixed drinks, me and the lady got a good cheap buzz going before heading out to play in Belize!

First, and most importantly, this hotel is on the beach, not where it shows on Google Places! The new owner should contact Google and make that change.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations, including an entirely new first floor, and new pool bar. The improvements made just while we were staying there for 8 days were huge.

You will receive excellent service from the staff, and if you're there to snorkel, dive or fish, Patojo, the former owner of the hotel, runs the dive shop on the adjacent pier. The hotel staff will make ANY arrangements you need during your stay, will do your laundry, and will make sure you have a great time.

The hotel is the exact right distance from downtown to get a good night's sleep, but not have to walk too far to shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

The money you save over staying at one of the more expensive hotels will pay for EVERYTHING else on your trip, including a golf car, and you won't feel you could have had more.
