Very relaxing place close to multiple sites to see with amazing hosts
Nothing fancy. Just nice and relaxed.
Bring the earplugs. Walls are thin and windows are just slots so the street is very noisy with cars and with employees having street brawls with their cousins. The doorbell on the front door rings throughout the entire hostel, not just workers quarters, and went off all night one night because they never remember to give keys to guests and they don't answer the door right away. Make sure to request keys to the front when you get there. On the bright side, the mattresses are good, the sheets smelled nice, and they lent us towels for free. Don't bother with the 4 person dorm for privacy, it's a closet, like it literally has a closet door on it, just go with the 8 dorm, it's more spacious the way it's set up.
Good place to meet people! Staff is probably partying more than the guests and therefore not always approachable! Take care of your stuff! I put my water shoes outside for drying and someone took them to go on a tour because he probably thought that they are are shared :/ Apart from that it's a very noisy place! But it's safe as it's 200 meters from the police station!
Love! Love! Love! This placethe owner is young, sweet, and helpful, its super laid back and equipped with everything you need. Love the local art and the mix of people. Sheets are clean, home is clean.
The location was great, in that it was easy to find. The mattresses were amazing compared to most hostels. The staff was non-existent, to the point I had to track someone down to pay. If you want to be left alone while you plan your San Ignacio adventures, this is the place.
Lovely, relaxed hostel in San Ignacio. This a great place to stay, awesome kitchen with free coffee and water, and the terrace for a comfortable place to hang out. The bar underneath the hostel is really cool and a great way to meet some lovely people!
Sweet digs. Comfortable rooms with plenty of local knowledge on offer and a good kitchen. Great jumping off point for the surrounds.
Good vibe, nice balcony, small and cosy. There is some traffic noise during the day.
I stayed for one night in March. My bedding was very tidy and clean! I didn't use the kitchen, but at a glance, the fridge looked pretty dirty and gross. Bathroom was clean and smelled nice, but I was disgusted that the sink drained sooo slowly. (No one wants to see their spit float around in there.) It wasn't immediately clear who the owners are, but I got it figured out. Not having AC was rough for me! Great price for what you get!
Great locally owned hostel with an interesting vibe that attracts interesting people as well which makes for some good fun.
Nice building, good kitchen, comfortable beds, and the owner even took us to a waterfall one afternoon!
Very comfartable and cozy.in town and the employees are super friendly and helpful
In the center of San Ignacio that's a great place for visiting around, there are a lot pyramids, and you are close to Tikal too,
I had a problem when I arrived here and the staff help me a lot to resolve it, honestly they are really great !
There is a balcony at the hostel, with couch, table etc to spend time outside, and everything is really clean ! A really good place
