It's not very developed but people are nice.
The ferry ride was expensive for what you get.

Beautiful area with some wonderful employees. People were not pushy and made small talk. Had my first coconut water. Trash was picked up frequently.

Tranquility and natural beauty is what you find when visiting Placencia. Well maintained and visually colorful. Loved the pathway to the little shops, easy to park, friendly people everywhere, great mix of products to try from delicious food to hand made jewlery to take as souvenir.
No public bathrooms, you pay a small price at the local bar.

This place is safe you can walk at anytime. There are a few people selling wood work, necklaces made out of shells which are beautiful, t-shirts and just lots of hand made stuff. You can access the beach easily from this area. People here are polite and friendly, it's a quiet place for vacation.

Nice to walk alongbeach sand is a little rough but friendly places to explore. Come down around 3-4pm to buy fresh fish, check out the snorkel and scuba tours on offer or enjoy something Tasty at an assortment of quaint spaces.

The staff at the pier are very helpful and informative and everything you need is within walking distance of the pier. You can even rent a golf cart for the day and return it right at the pier so you can catch your ferry in time.
