  Chris and his family are wonderfully laid back hosts. They have wifi, a communal shower, on-site laundry, and a small living room-esque common area.
  
  They are situated near the north end of the Placencia main Street, but it's easy to recognize and very cosy. It's still extremely easy it get anywhere - the village itself is quite small.

  Great place to stay, CHRIS is very helpful and nice man. Price is average, place is clean very well located. Recommended for anyone going to Placencia.

  Placencia hostel is a great place in Placencia, Belize. Rooms are big, quiet and clean. The price is cheap and the owner Chris is a real kind guy. He ll do whatever to help you! The place is beautiful and has a common part with everything (coffee, fridge, radio and mosquito nest). It's near the sea. The rooms have no a/c but fan is enough. The wifi is good 😉. There is a market accross the street.👍

  This place is super clean and nice!! I have never been to such a clean hostel! We arrived around 8pm and didn't book in advance, but the room owner was friendly and cleaned a room for us quickly. Highly recommend!

  The hostel is great, and Chris is the best host you could ever want to meet. He's built the hostel from scratch and is constantly improving it - whilst we were there, a guest suggested it would be good to have a table in the room, Chris built one that day. The rooms are a great size and the communal area is cosy, the showers are hot and it's a great location to explore placencia from. Chris makes the place though - he was friendly, helpful and good for a laugh. He even gave us some fresh coconuts for juice. I'd recommend staying here to anyone.

  Chris has a real gem of a hostel and great location to access everything. The beach is a stone throw away and easy walk to the sidewalkthe gateway to the bars and restaurants.
  The rooms are comfortable, along with hot showers and a common area.it's a really excellent deal.
  I had the double room with my own showerwhat can I say. I loved it.
  Chris and his family are top notch and will help you with anything you need
  Will recommend this little haven anytime.
