Miramar apartments is a solid option in Placencia. While location isn’t necessarily a major concern in this small village, there are few better spots. A door down from De’Tatch, behind Sun and Sand supermarket on the ocean side, nothing you need is further than you can toss a coconut. Ample parking and paved walkways make traveling with a roller bag of dive gear manageable. The rooms in the original buildings are reasonably priced, clean and well-appointed, if the furnishings are a bit dated. The common areas include the newly installed pool, rooftop lounge, pergola-covered beach sitting area and outdoor grills. To top it off the owner, has the brightest smile, which you are treated to daily, since she seems to always be on hand to help with any request. There are new apartments ocean-front that cost a bit more.
