Our room was extremely hot to the point to where we had to check out. There is also construction right next door. The doors have locks that do not work well, we pushed one of the locked doors open by barley pushing it. There's no parking, so if you have a car be prepared to walk. There are far better places to stay in Placencia, which we discovered after leaving this property. It is not worth the headache, we tried for a half hour to connect to the concierge, who is located in the states presumably at a call center, which continually loses connection, just to get into our lockbox for the key. Don't waste your money because they will charge you even if you're dissatisfied and check out.

First, the lock box was not working, we stood outside for a half hour trying to call the concierge. We got connected twice and then immediately disconnected. We had to call many times before we were even able to speak with anyone and get inside our room. I also walked directly into the first floor room even though it was locked. I’m sure those guests would be thrilled to know that by simply pushing the back door it opens. Had I had bad intentions I could have stolen everything in their room. Not to mention there is an active construction site literally 10 feet from the property.
When we finally got into our room it was incredibly hot to the point that we could not stay in the room. We turned on all of the fans and the AC to its max. After a couple of hours in the room we had run out of water and the room was no cooler. We called Alaina and waited for Management to send someone up who told us the AC was working. The fact that the AC was working tells me that that unit does not have the capacity to properly cool that room and needs to be replaced. The tarpon room was literally just as hot as being outside. The room was by no means comfortable or livable for three days. We Left the property, with no refund and we booked another room and for similar price at the Belize Ocean club, which is was fantastic. Do not waste your money on this place.response / report this review -

Beautiful beachfront location in Placencia with stunning views. A short walk to the sidewalk and all the shops. While close thw the acťion it is sufficiently private and you can't overhear any of the bar noise or parties. The interior details and appointments are well thought out and complete.
