  My experience with "K’atun Ajaw – Belize Culture Tours" was great. I found them through Trip Advisor. Elias the owner, and our guide for the Tikal trip is a seasoned professional. The long drive across the border was filled with stories of the natives and his personal experiences making it an enriching trip. He was most informative about the History of both the countries, Belize and Guatemala. He has a good sense of humor and knows how to tell a tale. He went out of his way to buy some local Guatemalan fruit for us to taste - the hairy lychee was the best and another passion fruit like fruit was so tasty - compared to that the typical supermarket fruit is flavorless. We felt safe with him as he took no risks and made sure we were back at the hotel before it was dark. His English and Spanish are both very good.

  There is no other way to see Tikal Elias Cambranes specialises in this Mayan marvel and created a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Our journey was swift and border crossings easy thanks to Elias's outstanding organisation. TIKAL itself is an expansive wonder and Elias brought it to life with his passionate insight so many dates and details were shared, so many threads to ancient wisdom and so many moments to capture magnificent memories. The day passed so quickly and we were delivered back to our resort, beyond thrilled, humbled and grateful that we had discovered Elias Cambranes of K'stun Ahaw Tours.

  We experienced Tikal with Elias and ATM cave with one of his guides, Juan Carlos. Both tours are amazing and I highly recommend them. Both are great tour guides, mixing history and personality.

  Tikal tour with Elias was a great experience! He helped us across the border and provided so much information on Tikal and other history of Guatemala and Belize. We highly recommend him.

  AJAW Chocolate is a must see in San Ignacio! You learn all about chocolate, from plant to mouth. You can make chocolate there, and add spices to it. It's right next to Rainforest Haven Inn.
