We loved this place so much we stayed there 3x in the month we were in Belize. In 3 different types of their rooms. Loved all 3But, if your thinking about hanging on the beach or going snorkeling, think again. The sea grass near the mainland is not conducive to snorkeling and it stinks. You have to take a boat out to the snorkeling areas about 30 min or more out..

Beautiful lodge, love the decor. Go there a few times a year for swimming, drinks, meetings and of course, a meal or two.

This place was so wonderful. I almost didn't leave the lodge. it had every thing you needed right there. Rooms are fabulous! Right next to the Ocean. Happy hour don't get me started. I will be going back!

Whenever I'm Hopkins I usually make a stop here, even if it's just for drinks. Rooms are nice, good food and the Jaguar mojitos are amazing.

Traveled all over Belize, and this place was by far my FAVORITE place. You will not regret staying here. Although, the beautiful flowers that were placed on the bed and in the bathroom attracted a lot of bugs/ants. We had to call late at night to have the room cleaned. Other than that, totally recommend it. (Just make sure to remove the flowers as soon as you arrive)

Really enjoyed the resort especially with the great manager from Germany taking care of us and all the guests. Beware of the sand flies, though. Also, the roads were not in good conditions coming to the resort.

A great place to stay to relax. Wish I had more time to actually start on the hotel. Gorgeous pools. Our room was right in front of the beach. Literally 10 steps away. Hammocks in front of the cabanas. Free use of paddle boards and kayaks. Also wifi in each room. I suggest not buying drinks and just going to a local supermarket where the prices are a lot better.

What an unreal experience. We wanted an experience that was a bit more authentic, without the concentrations of touristy swarms. The cabanas are decent enough, the rooms themselves arent over the top, but its the atmosphere we were really searching for. By staying out of the northern areas and the accompanying scuba divers and beach goers, we were able to really see and experience this incredible country. We loved the mixture of cultures found here, along the coast the culture is not the same as in the interior. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

This was our first trip to Belize and I'm so glad we stayed at Jaguar Reef! The rooms, pool, swim up bar, and hammocks on the beach we're absolute paradise. But the real pleasure was the staff! Everyone was so kind and accommodating! We had a member of our group have a family emergency while we were there and had to leave early, and the staff not only helped her change her flights, but drover us all to the airport to see her off and back free of charge. The staff there not only care about your stay but your well being. We can't thank them enough for everything they did. I highly recommend!
