Comfy little hotel on the beach. Overall it was a good stay, but not amazing.

Pros:
The rooms are fairly comfortable
The staff are excellent
Great views
Easy beach access
Walking distance of many shops and restaurants
Has wifi*

Cons:
No AC. The rooms have fans, but they are only so effective, particularly in the warm season
Wifi is absolutely terrible. You might be able to check your email, but don't expect to able to do any significant work online.

In summary, it's a good place to stay as long as you don't intend to stay in your room very much.

I stayed here for 2 nights. Friendly staff, clean room, quiet place to crash for a few nights. They need more lights on the beach for reading at night. Overall a great experience.

We didn't even have air conditioning and we stayed cool thanks to that amazing breeze. We also got to see an amazing view outside out deck, but not all the rooms had decks or views of the ocean. Other rooms had air conditioning. The beach was within 100 feet of our room. We were sad to go. Only downside: tricky toilets.

Clean and well maintained hotel. Down to earth friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is great and reasonably priced. Best panoramic view of the Caribbean in Placencia.
