The most beautiful place in this world.If you need to decompress from the concrete jungle.This is the place to do it no cars Wi-Fi tv's. Just nature and relaxation.
If Scuba is your thing you are just minutes from the wall.You can see Turtles Morays Eagle Rays Sharks Dolphins Healthy Corals just some of the thing you will experience there. Nice slow drift DIVES.
If you like to fish Warren or Desmond will take you fishing. You will probably catch the biggest fish of your lifetime.
Like to snorkel you can reach healthy patch reef right from shore with a kayak or if your a strong swimmer.They also do snorkel trips with the boat.
You can order fresh fish conch and lobster if in season for dinner.
If you make it to the dock in the evening while they are cleaning fish there is about 50 sharks cleaning up the scraps.
Life is short just live your dream.This place is a dream come true for me.

The island itself is stunning but the owners could need a little help out there. Rubbish and old boats are piled up in the middle of this little paradise and we didn't feel welcome there - more like intruders unfortunately. If you still choose this place, Make sure you're staying for a whole week (not just a couple of nights, even though they offer this on their website. they acted all surprised when we asked when our boat was leaving and wanted to charge us 350 us$ for a private boat hire). bring enough cash for food and water (cause they really don't like it when you use the self catering opportunities there). Betty's son though is an awesome fisherman, it was a pleasure to watch him prepare the freshest fish when he came home from the sea every afternoon.

This is the neatest little getaway in the world. It is a secret spot in the middle of the protected area off the coast of Belize. 100% recommended. The people are amazing.

Google Maps is both WRONG and misleading. Glovers Atoll Resort is open. It is just NOT at this location and never was. Their HQ and Guesthouse is in Sittee River south of Hopkins, BZ. (Was never in Dangriga.) We just spent ten days there and it was fantastic. Catch the boat in Sittee River and spend a week on a 9-acre Island in the Caribbean, perfect water for snorkeling and diving.

I had a terrible experience dealing with this resort and I'm out $570 and now I've had to initiate a dispute with my credit card company to try to recoup the funds. READ the "Terrible Reviews" in Trip Advisor before using this resort, because the same thing that happened to me happened to many others! I cannot recommend this resort to anybody. The customer service is awful and if you can get Marsha-Jo to respond to you it's either a miracle or she chooses who to reply to based on her financial gain. I originally made reservation at the resort in May of 2014 for a trip in March of 2015. I tried cancelling the trip starting December of 2014, but Marsha-Jo Lamont never replied to any emails, texts, or phone calls. No response what so ever. I have all emails and correspondence and photos of my cell phone screen to show the efforts I put into contacting the resort to no avail. This also happened to a friend of mine and she admitted wrongdoing by saying she never received the correspondence. At the time I made my reservation they had a 3 month full return cancellation policy, which they appear to have changed since that time. I would like a complete refund, this resort and this person have been a terrible customer service experience.
