Lovely location right on the beach. Safe. Great little beach house with comfortable bed. Lots to do in the area. Seine Bight town is interesting and has nice food market. Placencia has great food and Snorkeling, Monkey River Tour at Wind River Tours with Bert. Great guy! Mayan ruins in Toledo district and Rio Blanco Park with waterfall takes you on a beautiful rainforest drive. Really good food and drinks at Green Parrot. Leo is great host. Highly recommend.

Stayed a week here. The house is nice. Air conditioning works very well, keeps us all cool at night. The staff is so friendly and helpful and arranged all of our tours and helped us find everything we needed. The houses have lots of cockroaches and lizards, but are really nice houses. Just in a jungle area. Easy to forget about. The beach view is stunning. Almost out of a paradise painting. The sand is white and soft. The water is clear and very warm. I would highly reccomend this to anyone who isnt afraid of a little nature.

My wife and I stayed here 2 weeks recently. Amazing location, great beach, super friendly staff, good food, and priceless relaxation. Life is good at the Green Parrot.
Take a kayak out to the north end of False Caye, tie it to a mangrove tree, and do some snorkeling - nice coral garden out there!
Note: It's 7 miles to the center of Placencia from here, so if you don't have a car you'll have to bike down there if you want to go. We did it many times, so it's definitely doable, but bring water and a hat - the sun gets hot.

Good price and right on the beach. The cabana was a great size with plenty of room for our family of four. During our couple of days there, we were turned off by an awful smell of sulfuric smell. Kind of ruined what was a nice location for us. Kids enjoyed the hammock at the cabana as well as the couple on the dock. Very friendly staff.

Very pretty place and friendly owners. Food is expensive and beach houses do not have air conditioning. I did get overheated and the only way to cool down wad to get for a car ride.

Nice location. Great deals on car rentals (get one of your guesthouse staff to recommend so they get a small kickback - and remember to negotiate down the price; we paid 56 per day with insurance over new year). I had dinner here and felt that our was over priced for the quality. Some other travelers love it, others had my same thoughts. It probably depends on the cook. I'd choose Maya bistro instead; comparable prices but one of the best meals of my entire life.
