Best customer service experience I've ever had. The hotel was full when we arrived so the owner called every hotel in town until he found something that fit our tight budget. While he was making calls, another traveler walked in with the owner's son. It turns out the owner had sent his son to guide the traveler to some other hotels to try and help him out. After a bunch of calls he was able to find us all a big room over at pals guest place. And yes, we even had an extra bed for the other traveler who couldn't find any vacant rooms. So he joined our group and on to Guatemala we went.

A nice place place to stay for a couple nights while you're in Dangriga. The room I stayed in was okay. Not intended for long stay but secure. It had shared showers which had hot water. They serve coffee in the morning which also nice.

Stayed here last night, was the worst sleep I've gotten in my life. The thin foam mattress was criminal to offer to guests. I woke up sick and with back and hip pain from the mattress. Was also very itchy all night. As confirmed with three other guests, the sleeping conditions are terrible and they had the same problems. Rooms are very basic and mostly unfinished, and the bathroom area was beyond disgusting. Had to wipe piss off the seats. Not sure how housekeeping worked here, but they need to step their game up. Unacceptable hygiene practices. With a few small changes, this can be a nice place to stay. As is, avoid at all costs. Management was very friendly, but they need to work on cleanliness and comfort, even if they are economy rooms, you must offer a comfortable stay. Roof top patio would be nice, but there's nothing there to entertain or enjoy. I broke a chair when I sat down. I weigh 125 lbs. That pretty much sums up this hotel.

Efficiency room is small but serves purpose. We upgraded to get a private bathroom. AC, fan, and shower worth the extra $. Rooftop view is a wonderful way to see the town. Staff a helpful and welcoming. Ask about the taxi service, driver knows the town and little known spots visitors might overlook.

I was in eco-room, small rooms with shared toilets and showers. Eco-building is next to the main building. The room did not even have a coat rack or table, just a bed and a fan. Wi-Fi worked well.

Choices are limited for accommodation in Dangriga, and this one satisfies for one night. We stayed in the economy room, small but sufficient, WiFi was periodic in the room. The hosts are sometimes are to reach, but they do have free coffee, water and bananas in the morning. The town itself is nothing to note, one visitor described having an "existential crisis" upon arrival, we felt the same.

Mister Chad and Mrs Eleanor are two of the most welcoming people that I have encountered while traveling. This is locally owned and they live in the building so if anything is needed you can easily get ahold of them. I stayed here for an extended amount of time for study abroad in college and I plan to return when I get to opportunity! Also, be sure to try Mrs Eleanor's food if you have the chance!
