Of the 31 years I have been alive and having traveled the world this was by far the best week I have ever spent! Great staff, incredible excursions, and perfect food ever single night! Catered to every wish no matter how small! All the while giving a feeling of home for a third of the price for anything comparable in the area. Roads in and out are terrible but that is on the government not the resort!

We happened upon this resort by chance, but we're so unbelievably glad that we did! First of all, Hopkins is a wonderful town with beautiful beaches and a small town feel. It is a safe area to explore local bars and restaurants and the staff at Beaches and Dreams really encouraged us to immerse ourselves in the local culture, always letting us know which local bands were playing where. We also did all of our excursions through the resort, so we didn't have to worry about planning or transportation while we were there and they worked with us to customize our excursions, based on weather conditions and our interests. We really felt that of all the resorts in the area, this one had the most character and the best food (don't miss the pig roast on Wednesday night)! The staff made us feel like we were staying with family or close friends. At one point I had a horrible sunburn from snorkeling and Julie, one of the managers, actually picked some fresh aloe from the garden and cut it open for me so that I could put the fresh gel on my burn. They just bent over backwards to make us feel at home. We've recommended this place to all of our friends and would love to come back someday.

Tony, his wife, and his staff are some of the friendliest people you will meet in Belize. Their resort is in a lovely location in Hopkins and serves as a great hub for all adventure and sightseeing activity in Belize. We had the pleasure of staying at Beaches & Dreams as part of our filming for the series Island Hunter, and Tony went above and beyond to help us out with our shoot. The Barracuda Bar & Grill was one of the best meals we've had in the country! Bar none. Tony's experience and passion as a Chef really comes across in his dishes! Amazing experience and highly highly recommended!

I went here for a wedding mid November. The rooms are gorgeous, the view is breathtaking and the staff is incredibly friendly. You can safely leave the resort and walk to nearby restaurants where the staff is as equally friendly. The food at every place we went to was cheap and to die for. Not one bad experience.

Tony and Angela are wonderful to work with and answer any and all questions. I highly recommend beaches and dreams!

Tony is an amazing host. Comfort and sea in one, who could ask for better. The food is very Italian inspired and magnificent. A must stop on your Hopkins trip.

Great way to start a new day! We only had breakfast here and it was really good. Friendly staff and great service! Right in front of the ocean with clean sand and a nice view.
