  Omg this is the most beautiful place in Placencia. The service is excellent and the rooms are a dream. My niece just had her wedding there last month and everything was beautiful and the people there are the best.

  A great resort. Staff is most attentive. Get to eat on the patio of your villa. Also transport to town in the evenings, which is less than a mile away. Fully equipped kitchen was a bonus with coffee to make 8 cups every day. Recommend snorkeling, which is with Seahorse and Monkey River (put on plenty of sunscreen).

  Absolutely wonderful staff and accommodations. I have never had a better experience with every staff member that we worked with. Chabil Mar is very close to the village as well which has several options for food and drink. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a pleasant, tranquil getaway to Belize

  Have always wanted to visit Belize. After a lot of research and a little guess work, I decided to take the family to Placentia to try to experience both the land and sea aspects of the country. Chabil Mar popped up on google maps and looked to be in a prime location close to the town, right on the beach, and with access to the mainland (it's on the peninsula so you can drive anywhere).
  
  The reviews have been spot on. This place is gorgeous. The condo we stayed in was immaculate. The staff is exceptional and go way out of the way to make your stay enjoyable. Food is fantastic and they will serve you anywhere you want to eat it. Breakfast by the pool? No problem. Dinner on your private patio? No problem. Reserve the pier for an evening dinner. You'll love it.
  
  They set up multiple trips for us, including snorkeling, a visit to Mayan ruins, zip lining and river tubing, a river hike, and a jungle river tour. All of them were a unique and personalized experience.
  
  Early in the week, a storm took out power. They have generator capacity so you never know it when it happens. We did lose internet for 5 days. But honestly, I think it was nice to be off the grid for a while. We were so busy, it did not matter at all.
  
  Would really love to go back sometime and visit again. If you get the chance, go! Enjoy it!

  This resort is very well kept. Everyone one is so polite and happy. The rooms are Executive style with stainless steel appliances. We have a deck off the main entrance and one off the master bedroom. We have a view of the Caribbean waters about 100 ft from our building. We dined with an iguana for lunch. He enjoyed tomato and green peppers. This resort is the one we will come back to each time we visit Placencia.

  Beautiful, cozy, awesome staff, great food. It's about a kilometer away from the boardwalk. Easy access on bike or golf cart.
